Hello everyone. Thank you for keeping her name alive on this site. I want to inform you, as her nephew, that her body was found in Texas, US. Detectives say she has been deceased since 1982. My mother drove down to Texas to recover her body and cremated her at a funeral home, then brought her ashes back home. I was born in 1987 so I never met her, but I'm glad my mother got closure.

They do have a suspect in the case, but as it's an ongoing investigation, I cannot release more details. I hope justice is brought on whomever did this to this poor 18 year old.

Either way, she is home.

Her namus page is still up with no updates. The Charley project is not Run by law enforcement.

Has she been formally identified and has all of her family been officially notified? I was told once by Law Enforcement that they do not make a public statement or take down official notices untill all of the family is notified to ensure no one finds out on tv or a public post.
