Found safe. According to this article LM called her family Thursday night and they are on their way to meet her in Rockford, Illinois.

Per this article, Leigh was found in Rockford, Illinois...! That’s not anywhere near Winona / La Crosse.

Curious to understand her thought process on this one? Glad she is safe, though!

Glad she is safe but do hope she understands how many people literally risked their lives driving and flying in this horrid weather to find her. They are truly heroes.

Rockford Police give details on contact with missing Goodview woman

Public Information Officer Christie Castillo said that police located Leigh Meska was found in a retail business parking lot off of I-90. It was near Bell School Road and East State Street.

After making contact with her, she was taken to a local hospital for medical evaluation.

Castillo said they had no reason to suspect any foul play.

Found safe. According to this article LM called her family Thursday night and they are on their way to meet her in Rockford, Illinois.

I didn't run her court records as I assumed missing due to weather. She has had more than one DWI arrest, the most recent one I could find from 2015. Police Blotter - Winona Post > Community Record. I hope she was lost and not driving impaired and this might serve as a wake-up call to get some help.

Goodview woman who went missing for 36 hours has no memory of her disappearance, police say

Leigh Elizabeth Meska, the Goodview woman who went missing on her way to work last week, has no memory of her disappearance, Goodview Police Chief Kent Russell said Tuesday.

According to Russell, Meska reported that she couldn’t remember anything from the time she left for work last week Wednesday to the time she called her parents in Rockford, Ill., where she was found in good health on Thursday night.

He said Meska is now working with a medical professional to determine the cause of her memory loss.
