It states..Last seen while attending the Univ of Minnesota. Does that mean he was last seen on Campus? Very vague. Plus, April 18th was a Sunday. Was the Univ on Spring Break..was Lester home? Wish we had more details.

You can find a copy of the school's calendar for 1970-1971 online thankfully. They were not on spring break in April when he disappeared. Their spring break would have been at the end of Winter Quarter (approximately March 20-28th, 1971) and the Spring Quarter classes started on March 29th, 1971. The calendar is a little confusing to read but it is clear they didn't really have a break from school around the time he went missing. April 9th-11th, 1971 would have been their last break for Easter. Hope that helps answer your question!
