"Nineteen-year-old Linda Rousseau left her family’s home in the Midway neighborhood to buy some fast food in May 1971. She never returned. About three months later, her remains were found in a shallow grave in Hidden Falls Park, just off Mississippi River Boulevard."

I tried to find some news articles from back in 1971 without much luck. I'll keep looking. Sometimes those old articles have a few more details.

The person who killed Linda probably had a car. The area where she went missing is several miles from the location where her body was found. Most likely someone who was familiar with the area.
