one of my best friends works at mayo clinic and she said there's posters everywhere and everyone is talking about it and giving the case attention, which at the very least is SOME good news...
Kingsbury works at Mayo Clinic and is a graduate student at the University of Minnesota, her sister said.

“This community has really rallied around us, and so many wonderful people have traveled from all over the state and beyond to come and help find my sister,” Megan Kingsbury said. “We’re beyond grateful, and we’re truly touched.”

The children’s father told police he left the home in Kingsbury’s minivan — a dark blue 2014 Chrysler Town and Country — at about 10 a.m., and that Kingsbury was not home when he returned later in the day.

“We believe a van similar to Maddi’s van was driven on County Road 12 and (State) Highway 43 in Winona County, and then southbound on Highway 43 through the eastern part of Fillmore County,” Williams said. “Later a van similar to Maddi’s traveled back toward Winona on Highway 43. All of this occurred between approximately 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. We believe the van remain parked in the driveway of Maddi’s residence from 1:30 p.m. on. Nothing to date has indicated that Maddi left the residence on foot or in another vehicle.”

Authorities are not looking for the van. Williams said they searched it, and the home, and found Kingsbury’s phone, wallet and ID, along with the jacket she had been wearing the morning she went missing.

I anticipate rapid developments today.

LE has a handle on all the moving parts IMO and is circling in.

It will be the same sad ending we've come to expect.

Hoping against all hope I'm wrong and she's found safe.

It is confusing. I've also read that the father is referred to as the husband and then I've read that they weren't married.
Unless they got married out of state, there are no marriage applications listed for either of them in MN. There's also no dissolution of marriage in the works (or at least filed through the court system). I think they maybe acted/told people they were married since they have a couple kids but he was just a long-term boyfriend/possible fiance at one point.

Sad !
I keep thinking, "Here we go again..."
Hope I'm wrong and she just needed a break ?
But it sounds like she was devoted to her babies, so .... :(

Agreed. Edited my post to clarify.

Hoping for a miracle, bracing myself for answers.

A 26-year-old mother of two from Minnesota has been missing for almost a week in what local police are describing as 'suspicious' circumstances after her phone and wallet were found in her house.
Red bolding mine.
Her family look utterly devastated, as if this is unprecedented and out of character for her !

I doubt Madeline left of her own volition; but would love to be wrong.
Still hoping for good news.
M00.

The Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Winona Police Department and the Fillmore County Sheriff’s Office have organized a mass search for Madeline Kingsbury on Friday, April 7, 2023.

Kingsbury, 26, has been missing since the morning of March 31 when she was last seen at her home in Winona.

Officials are looking for individuals over 18 years of age to walk areas that are rough terrain and long distances. The request is for volunteers to aid in the search for about four hours.

If you volunteer, authorities need to have individuals that are able to meet these requirements and that can wear appropriate clothing and footwear.

If you are willing to volunteer, meet at either: Winona County -Goodview Fire Department located at 4135 5th St in Winona or Fillmore County Rushford-Peterson School, located at 1000 Pine Meadows Lane in Rushford.

There will be two times to report to volunteer, 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at each location.

Volunteers will be assigned to a search area and will be bussed to that area. Bring your driver’s license/identification. You will need to be checked in and out for security and accountability.

Sign-up is recommended for organizational purposes. You can sign up here.

"Please help us find Madeline, the children need their mother," her sister Megan said at a news conference on Wednesday. She said her niece has inherited her mother's "kindness and curiosity," and her red-headed nephew has dimples and is a "chatterbox" that loves to "dance."

Thank you all for the flight updates.

Someone made this both easy and vast.

If the times are accurate, M was very much alive at 8:15. And her van was driving during a very narrow window of time. Which isolates a radius. And we're seeing that now IMO.

I'm not certain M was operating under own power at 8:15. Something happened prior IMO and escalated rapidly after that.

I remain braced.

I wonder how she appeared upon drop off of her children at daycare. Did she seem distressed or upset? I also wonder how she was dressed (unless I missed that part). If she was supposed to be heading into work, was she dressed professionally? I know daycare can totally tell a difference on days that I'm working from home or off vs. days I have to report to the office.

I also wonder if she was forced to drop them off at daycare so she would be "seen" at 8:15am.... JMO

If the van traveled from 10-1:30, starting and ending in Winona, and the theory is that Maddi left in the van and did not return in the van, that would be 3.5 hours, round-trip. So, theoretically, to your point, the van could only have gone as far as 1.75 hours away and turned back (minus the timing of any activities at the destination or any stops along the way). LE seems confident that 43 was taken, which narrows it even further.
