... several walkers discovered what appeared to be a human skull near the Minnehaha Falls off-leash dog park.

... the skull was that of a human, but ... it will take more time to determine its age, sex and race.

MINNEAPOLIS (AP) – The human skull found in a Minneapolis park earlier this month was likely a discarded teaching tool used at the Minneapolis VA Medical Center.
