MN - One dead after Minneapolis shooting involving immigration agents, US media report, January 24, 2026

This video from the white car shows the moments AFTER the shooting.

The doctor who testified was right. They are not administering CPR. They are rifling around his body. imo

Thieves as well. Making sure they get his phone for sure as well as anything of value to them.. Investigation is looking into that though and we'll see. He was murdered and Rennee Good's murder was just labeled homicide. IMO

I received approval to link the following video. The white vehicle right behind the incident was occupied at the time of the shooting and this is the driver’s footage. I haven’t seen it in MSM yet, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time.

Edit: the driver also posted a video right before this one of the events right before this video starts.
This video, part 2, from the white car shows the moments AFTER the shooting.

Unfortunately, those claims cannot be believed without proof by independent observers.

"WASHINGTON (TNND) — A web of encrypted chats and databases show that protesters were mobilized at the scene in Minneapolis, Minnesota, before the death of Alex Pretti.

The encrypted chats, reviewed by Fox News Digital, show that protesters were tracking Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) “abductors” and were already at the location where Alex Pretti, 37, was before he was shot."

Right, the same encrypted chats/databases used elsewhere like at the Capitol and such. Signal, WhatsApp, Airtable, and Facebook. I swap recipes on Signal. Fox News makes it out like these folks are MI5 or something. Sophisticated databases. Good lord 🙄

I'd like someone to take the procudures manual and link it to training exercises and then link that to how the officers handled themselves when they shot Alex Pretti.

The head of Homeland Security has repeatedly said the officers were trained and followed procedures. Show us the procedures they followed with Alex Pretti.

This is where the problem lies:

"In the hours after the shooting, the Department of Homeland Security alleged that Pretti “violently resisted” disarmament until officers fired “defensive shots.” But bystander footage reviewed by The Wall Street Journal contradicts that version of events. The footage appears to show a federal officer pulling a handgun away from Pretti. Less than a second later, an agent fires several rounds."

Next thing you know, we'll be told they were texting and maybe even talking to each other! Insert eye roll.

Good grief, an attempted smear campaign because neighbors are sharing info on Signal?

It's legal to bear witness, to document what is happening on public streets.

ETA: And it's legal to keep yourself safe by sharing info on an app!

That's complete horsesh*t!

Every video, from every angle, makes it perfectly clear that they had no idea he was carrying until he was on the ground (and having the shite beaten out of him by them) when his jacket rode up exposing his LAWFULLY AND CONSTITUTIONALLY CARRIED firearm.

On seeing this - that's it, Trump is done. Over.

There will be a new face in the WH by the midterms.

That's not a political statement, btw. Just my opinion.

Oh how I wish you'll be right. I can't personally see it though. Not even after this.

Can one of the moderators clarify what is allowed in this thread and what isn't please?

First review by a moderator of another person's posts that I quoted were modsnipped but my posts weren't. Then a few of my posts got removed, I'm guessing by another moderator, with reasons noted off topic and stick to the shooting (in capitals so I don't know if I was been yelled at lol).

This shooting is so heavily interweaved with politics because of the nature of the event i.e. government-appointed and instructed ICE agents and the death of a citizen. And I can't think of anything I posted that would not have been related to the shooting and how US citizens are interpreting the event.

I am genuinely confused that some of the politically-related posts remain and mine were removed. Not questioning the moderator's decision, but it seems pointless posting if I (and maybe others) have no idea where the line is drawn on what can be posted and if our posts will be removed

I don't know if this has been noted here yet, but there are now AI-generated videos circulating which have removed the phone Pretti had in his hand, and replaced it with a gun. I heard this on my local radio station just now from a University of Manitoba professor talking about some of the dangers of AI. I don't have the time to track down this video at this juncture of my day.

Which ever way....
I see there are plenty of predictions being floated out there, some are quite specific. MOO.

Everyone everywhere knows that the statement from the federal government is untrue, and that it was released with the sole purpose of placing blame on the victim. That is where the problem starts, because that is the organization that has done everything possible to blame the victim.

Those placing blame on the victim have lost all credibility. We have seen a pattern of blaming the shooting victim. It is now clear that federal agents can shoot civilians, and they will immediately be defended with false statements from the government.

It's not just the shooters who must be accountable, but also those who defend the shooting with false statements.

History repeats itself. The tactics aren't even new, sadly.

Memorial for Alex Pretti grows as mourners pay respects

At 26th and Nicollet, the memorial for Alex Pretti continues to grow as Minnesotans continue to pay their respects to the lost life.

The spot where federal agents killed Pretti has now become a space for community — a place to grieve, a place to gather together and a place to ask what's next.

Monday morning, a WCCO crew saw person after person stop by to add flowers, mementos, signs and notes paying tribute to Pretti. Many stopped for a moment of silence or prayer. Some were weeping, grieving for a person they hadn't even met.

Many of the mourners are feeling the weight of this heavily in their community, while others are traveling from across the metro to see and feel it for themselves.

"I just think this is what the Twin Cities is about," Erinn Farrell of Minneapolis said. "The warmest of souls on the coldest of days, consistently showing up for one another and honoring this shared experience."

"I think it's so easy to keep your head down," Joel Willenbring of Apple Valley said. "Coming here has helped me keep my head up."

Many people at the memorial shared a feeling of helplessness, but felt that going there and paying respects was an actionable thing they could do.

The means of communication are irrelevant; what matters is that there was a coordinated effort to interfere with a law enforcement operation. imo

I don't know how Noem can stay on the job as head of Homeland Security. She has made obvious lies about the shooting of Alex Pretti and, frankly, her mission in MN has been a disaster. Perhaps most importantly in terms of her job, she has brought criticism to her boss by groups and individuals who normally support him because of what she said about Alex Pretti. And now her boss has sent someone else to MN to check on the work being done there. That's not a sign her boss has confidence in her abilities to run the department or handle this mission.

The disgust at the lies about the Alex Pretti shooting is so widespread. I don't expect Noem to last the week in that job, tbh. (Ready to be wrong, tho.)

I also expect ICE to end the blitzkrieg in the state soon. imo

The killing of Alex Pretti should've been a step too far, but the handling of the shooting is what is intolerable to so many. The authorities lied.

He does seem to tend to agree with and get on with the last person he talks with, let's see who is next? IMO
