GUILTY MN - Rose Downwind, 31, Bemidji, 19 October 2015

I'm trying to understand why/how the ex bf supposedly 'saw' her leaving a residence and getting into a car. Did he just happen to be near that residence at that moment? Did he spy on her? Or why would he see her leaving? Very peculiar statement, and somewhat suspicious.

I thought his story bared a little more fleshing out also. Was he stalking her, is this residence near his home, place of work, what??? I noticed in most of the news reports, they are all going with the timeline of the Target sighting as being the last. I'm also confused about the "mother" that got the suspicious text message from Rose after the ex-boyfriend came forward to report being last to see her. She is listed as Georgia Downwind, but I thought Rose's mother was Darla Banks, daughter of the the AIM founder.

Yep, the way I understood was that Georgia is the step mom and Darla is the biological mom.

According to that Valley News Live link, he reported her leaving HIS house, 2 days after she was seen at Target. So now he's the last known person to be seen with her. He's put a bigger spotlight on himself if he did do this, since they thought Target was the last place she was seen. I'm hoping the bf didn't do something and is now just using the usual "she left, don't know what happened to her" bs, but it seems odd that no one would have heard from her at all. I hope they find her, her phone, any clue, something!

The investigation has been focused to an area north of the City of Bemidji to include; Lake Bemidji State Park and the Buena Vista State Forest. Specifically, the area between the north end of Lake Bemidji and Lindgren Road, between County Road 9 and County Road 23.

Marchello Anthony Cimmarusti, age 40 and Christopher John Davis, age 27 have been identified as persons of interest in this case along with a pewter colored 2002 GMC Yukon, MN plate #325MGP. If you saw these individuals or vehicle in this area during the period from October 19th to October 29th please contact the Bemidji Police Department immediately at 218-333-9111.

Really really do not like that the ex was the last to see her and sounds so very vague about it.

Foul Play Suspected; Persons of Interest Named in Disappearance of Dennis Banks’s Granddaughter

Mastin also stated that investigators believe they’ve identified a vehicle that may be connected to the case, and are asking for the public’s help to determine if the two men or that truck were in the vicinity when Downwind disappeared.

The vehicle is a pewter-colored 2002 GMC Yukon; Minnesota license plate 325 MGP.

The family plans to conduct a ground search, possibly this week, once an area of interest is more clearly defined. The investigation has since focused north of Bemidji to include Lake Bemidji State Park and Buena Vista State Forest. "We're waiting on some developments in the hopes to narrow the search. Right now, it's just so vast, nearly 65 square miles," said family spokesperson and Downwind's cousin Dwa Weston. "There are some things we have to do before the big searches."

A family search was held Sunday, which involved going to Bemidji State Park and speaking with the rangers.

Police have spoken with both and are not actively looking for them, however, the agency is requesting information from the public who may have seen the two between Oct. 19-29.

Officials are also seeking information regarding a 2002 GMC Yukon vehicle with the Minnesota license plate of "325 MGP" during that time period.
