The Alexandria Police Department is asking for the public's help in locating 32-year old Alexandria native Ryan Johnson, last seen at a local bar in the area Thursday evening, according to a release.

Clothing and credit cards belonging to Ryan Johnson, 32, of Alexandria, were found along the shore of Lake Agnes on Sunday, Alexandria Police Chief Rick Wyffels said.

Johnson was last reported being seen about 11 p.m. Thursday at Fat Daddy's Bar and Grill in Alexandria. He told a friend he was going to walk to The Depot Express, a restaurant and bar along Lake Agnes.

I have been to Alexandria but not those bars. I googled them and they are about 2.2 miles apart which is about 45 minutes walking. It's a populated area of this resort town with pretty busy roads by both bars. Only The Depot Express has water on 2 sides of the bar.

I live in Alex and they set a cone where his clothes were found. Quite odd to just wander into a lake with it this cold. This is definitely out of ordinary. I know him and I hope he is found safe, but its not looking good.

Body of missing man found in Lake Agnes

Alexandria police said the body of Ryan Johnson, 32, was found Wednesday morning.

The body will be transported to the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office in Anoka County to conduct further examination.
