Timothy Johnson, and his wife, Sarah Johnson gave 7-year old Seth Johnson ‘Medical Honey’ & Prayed Over Him While He Died in His Vomit-Soaked Bed, the DA Says.

Seth died a slow and painful death of acute pancreatitis and possible sepsis.

They also said that 7 year old Seth was was throwing himself down the stairs and hitting his head??

The American couple accused of killing their 7-year-old adopted son and fleeing to New Zealand are in Auckland.

Leaders of a church in east Auckland were stunned to hear they have been attending services.

Kevin Robertson, ministry leader at Hillside Community Church in the east Auckland suburb of St Johns, said Tim and Sarah Johnson and their family had been attending the church for a short time.

Let me know if they decide to ‘abscond’ to Australia.

Who thinks they can diagnose their child with PTSD and TBI without visiting a doctor?

Its been 3 years since Seth died. It is still an open warrant in Hennnipen county for Timothy D Johnson. He never appeared in court.
Timothy and Sarah Johnson ran away to New Zealand.
Due to the charges being misdemeanor there is no extradition from NZ. Their passports are flagged if they do try and return, but they can’t be arrested or sent back from NZ.

How are they making money?

Can you just move to NZ and stay as long as you want?

new article.
“We are disappointed that justice has not been done for young Seth Johnson, “ said Hennepin County Attorney Mike Freeman. “He was treated very poorly by his parents and that was compounded by their fleeing to New Zealand.”

The gross misdemeanor warrant for neglect is non-extraditable from New Zealand.

“The reason we cannot just have them arrested and extradited is that, because Seth’s death could not be directly linked to actions or inactions of Timothy and Sarah Johnson, we were able only to charge a gross misdemeanor, neglect of a child.”

Maybe they’ll get cocky or slip up and return to the States or one of its territories one day and authorities will be able to nab them.

Alternatively, NZ may change their extradition laws in the future, which would allow them to be sent home to face a gross misdemeanour charge of child neglect.

They might also have to be careful, I think, as like Australia, if they commit a serious enough crime in NZ, they may be sent home.

Also, all the Hennepin County DA has to do is find that elusive link to Seth’s death and lay further charges, say, for murder, and I don’t think NZ would be quite so accommodating to the Johnsons.

If I were them, I’d be walking on eggshells for the rest of my life.

IMO
Wow the judge rejected the plea deal at sentencing. 1 year with work release for both. So glad they got something after the boy suffered so much and the parents fled to new Zealand.
I wonder about their other kids. Now they live in Washington.
They didn't seem remorseful enough to me. Ugh
