The first question I have is "Where would a 13-year-old even GET something like that in the first place?" Follow the drugs, and the money, and arrest everyone involved up the chain! The pills were estimated to be worth about $25 each on the street.

MN has had a big fentanyl problem for a few years now. It's scary that it's so accessible especially children having it on them.

Yeah, kinda like your name (Pez candy). It's bad news and needs to stop. :)

Hopefully my response wasn't misinterpreted. I meant that the huge fentanyl problem would be akin to dispensing it like you do Pez candies. Way too easily. :(

Just a few days ago, I saw a YT video where they displayed some confiscated fentanyl that did indeed look like a PEZ candy.

I feel bad for a 13-year-old having someone who could provide drugs in his life, nevermind 1500 tablets... I hope the system will help him into a much better situation.

Was he selling them?

That's probably why he took them to school.

One wonders why 13-year-olds would be carrying that kind of money to school, but maybe they had Venmo or PayPal accounts?

No, I totally understand what you meant! & Unfortunately there was something awhile few years before this case broke that other little children had brought drugs to school because they LOOKED just like candy & that's what the kids thought it was, but it was acid that was literally soaked into pez, the dad was a small town drug dealer in northern MN. Made me sketched ever since when someone offers pez nowadays.

So who was he selling them for?

Imagine what could have happened if he had actually sold them to classmates...
