Gregory Allen Scheel, 34, pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree murder for killing his grandparents, Gloria and Wilbert Scheel.

Scheel was sentenced to two consecutive life terms and cannot petition for parole until he serves 60 years in prison.

Scheel will be 94 before he is eligible for parole. He was given credit for 195 days served.
