Poor mama. Sounds like she and her kids got lucky as this could have been much worse. She called her husband and he listened, alerting law enforcement. Additionally, it sounds like she had a brief moment of lucidity in which she gave her children car keys and told them to leave (per the article). I hope she gets all the help she needs and I hope she can give herself some compassion. My opinion only.

I agree

It’s absolutely incredible that these kids got out alive, sounds like the husband did what he was supposed to and she did her best to fight whatever she had going on and have them leave.

See stuff like this scares me as I have visual an audio hallucinations as well as paranoia and delusional tendencies I've been through a number of mental health teams seen doctors and therapists ect I'm autistic with undocumented ADD an c-pstd due to those the doctors ect cant make there mind up if I have schizophrenia or bi-polar a combo of both or if it's something else I've had episodes were I was chasing someone around my house with a large kitchen knife as in my head they had broken in and was trying to hurt me/steal stuff I realized after an hour of running about they weren't real and it was my head playing up it's truly scary how the brain can make situations like that seam so real at the time

I'm so sorry, that sounds very scary, for you and others around you. I hope you find answers and a course of treatment that works for you.

Thank you most of my symptoms was before I was put on anti psychotic meds what do help to an extent unfortunately one of the side effects is it's I can no longer process feelings properly I had issues with this before the meds due to the autism but they've made it much worse now like all my senses of feelings ie upset angry anxiety ect and to an extent pain have been removed or like the instructions to use them have been removed I'm used to it now but wish the doctor ect told me that would happen before

Hallucinations are very scary and very real for the person experiencing them. My brother has schizophrenia and he refuses to get help. Luckily, he's never been violent so I don't worry about him hurting someone. I hope you have the support you need to live your life to the fullest.
