Or people could simply follow the law. A good first step would be to stop obstructing or targeting ICE and allow them to do their jobs.
Or get shot in the head by an agent who couldn't manage the scene.

The FBI said this afternoon that it is investigating today’s fatal shooting by an ICE agent in Minneapolis.

“Consistent with our investigative protocol, the incident is under review, and we are working closely with our law enforcement partners,” the agency said in a statement...

ICE officers are trained to never approach a vehicle from the front and instead to approach in a “tactical L” 90-degree angle to prevent injury or cross-fire, a senior Department of Homeland Security official told NBC News.

Officers are also instructed not to shoot at a moving vehicle and only to use force if there is an immediate risk of serious injury or death, the official said.

ICE officers are also instructed that firing at a vehicle will not make it stop moving in the direction of the officer.

This whole investigation is gonna be a mess

I saw the video. ICE murdered an innocent woman and now her child has no mother OR father. Shame on that orange sprayed piece of shih in the White House for lying about the circumstances of Nicole Good's MURDER. I agree with the mayor - ICE needs to leave Minneapolis. And the agent who killed Good should be fired and have the book thrown at him. Senseless and horrifying. Say her name- RENEE NICOLE GOOD. Fitting last name btw.

We're losing our humanity with people rushing to rationalize and defend this.

Even if you are very in favor of ICE, you must admit they could've de-escalated the situation, let her leave, gone around, went around the other way, or even spoken to her calmly without their weapons drawn. As someone else said - they were foaming at the mouth to turn needlessly hostile, aggressive and violent! Rushing up to her and screaming with guns drawn!

She had JUST allowed another ICE vehicle to pass in front of her and she did NOT ram them.

I can't believe people are celebrating them needlessly taking a young mother's life.

Noem says attacks on federal agents have become more common in recent months.

"Today alone in this country, there have been four different domestic terrorist attacks on federal officers by the ramming of vehicles, three of them happened here in Minneapolis. We've seen over 100 of these vehicle rammings happen in just recent weeks. And this must stop. ICE alone is facing a 1,300% increase in assaults against them, and an 8,000% increase in death threats against all of them. In fact, the very same officer who was attacked today had previously been dragged by an anti-ICE rioter who had rammed him with a car and drug him back in June. He sustained injuries at that time as well."

Sec. Noem says DHS is following normal protocol for reviewing a use-of-force incident.

Damn, she's bad at her job. She can't even deflect right.

MOO.

For many years now we see the zombies above ground and it's not stopping, IMO

It was bound to happen, unfortunately - 4 car rammings just today and over 100 in recent weeks. :(

I hope he is in protective custody. He is innocent unless found guilty by a court of law. That's the U.S. way. We don't need some kind of vigilante justice. People are reacting before we get all the details. On both sides of the equation.
"the US way" is also farcical when the J6's, the Honduran President, George Santos,Changpeng Zhao and 1500 other convicted criminals with favourable connections to Trump have been pardoned in his first twelve months of his second term.

Far outstripping any other president. Trump has made a mockery of the US judicial system

imo

She followed the law. She didn't obstruct or target ICE. She had every right to be on that street. Her name is Renee Good. Say her name.

You should watch the video on X, your opinion on the rat who killed Good will change instantly.

So you think she deserved to die?

Aren't all jobs optional? IMO

If I went to work feeling unsafe everyday, I'd get another job is the point that was being made. It's not the fault of this woman that this ICE agent had previously been in dangerous situations and was allegedly trigger happy.

if he was too rattled by a previous experience to be held responsible for his actions today, then he shouldn't have been out there. he should have been on medical leave or something.

the fact they're even raising this makes me think the admin's position is "evolving" a little after seeing the videos.

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) officers have federal authority under the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), particularly Section 287 (8 U.S.C. § 1357), to arrest individuals violating immigration laws, and they can arrest U.S. citizens who obstruct government functions or interfere with their lawful duties, often under general federal laws against obstruction of justice, like 18 U.S.C. § 1509.
And can they can shoot them dead for obstructing justice, as they're driving away from conflict? Is that the way it works now in America? Do they mention that at all in 18 U.S.C. 1509?
