BBC reported that there was later an ICE raid at a school about 3 miles away.
Business as usual. imo


According to Minnesota Public Radio, US Border Patrol officers entered a public school property about three miles from the shooting, where they tackled people, and made arrests using pepper spray.

Photos show agents making arrests in the snow. The incident occurred just as school was letting out for the day.

"Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said local police arrived at the scene to find a woman with a gunshot wound to the head. They performed life-saving measures at the scene, including CPR.

O'Hara said he was "very concerned" with the tactics used by federal immigration agents. He noted that the use of deadly force is justified at times, but that most law enforcement agencies in the U.S. are trained to minimize the risks and the need for deadly force.

"In any professional law enforcement agency in the country, I think they would tell you it's obviously very concerning whenever there's a shooting into a vehicle of someone who's not armed," he said.

The shooting is being investigated by the FBI and the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension. They will investigate the use of deadly force."

She was actually turning the car (tyres) away from them. Really clear to see in this video linked by BBC. It is probably the best close-up view I have seen.
She certainly was not aiming to hit anyone - and didn't as far as I can tell. Nobody seems to recoil from impact with a vehicle.
It was a deadly overreaction by an ICE person.

If they wanted to stop her, they could have shot her tyres.
She was not trying to hit them with her vehicle.

Just so you’re aware, I’m not defending them. But it’s a deadly weapon. Do you think they were concerned she was going to ram into him? It was a split second reaction?

Very concerning that they don’t seem to have training and are so trigger happy.

She was not driving in the direction of an ICE agent. She was parked. There was a lane for vehicles to pass. There was no need to approach the woman, really, and especially not in an aggressive manner to escalate a situation. Then to shoot her and not allow a doctor on the scene to help her while she was bleeding out. What a tragedy!

This is a very salient point. Because this is what the good Americans are up against. They are damned if they do and damned if they don't.
If they realize what is really going on now and try and rise up against it they have been shown that they will be shot down like vermin and the administration will blatantly lie to keep it's supporters on side.

At the same time I believe this is exactly what the government is trying to do so that they can declare marshal law or a state of emergency whereby all elections will be cancelled so Trump stays in power. I'm not exactly sure of the legalities of this but the legalities don't seem to matter too much in America at the moment.

I watched a video of Steve Bannon talking along these lines when Trump got in a second term. Another thing he talked about was implementing a strategy called "move fast and break things" whereby they do and say so much so quickly that the people are lurching from one loss of freedom or catastrophe to the next unable to focus their energy on fighting anything effectively.

And if the good people of America decide to lay down and accept it because they're too exhausted then the govt has also achieved it's aim of an authoritarian dictatorship, not unlike Nazi Germany.
