My opinionated interpretation of the apparent cover up by Fed investigators against state investigators...

The reasonable force excuse at minimum would require Shot 1 to be the fatal shot. (In a somewhat similar Chicago incident of fed shooting innocent woman, the feds repaired one of the vehicles before any non-feds could inspect it, no kidding.) So they sure don't want Minnesota investigators to be able to prove what seems obvious from the video and windshield photo: if the victim was shot in the head it could not have been Shot 1.

Sadly, this isn't the defining moment. The tipping point happened years ago when our elected officials and law enforcement at all levels refused to hold certain people accountable for clear crimes. This is the result. It's not going to end, it will only get worse IMO. The mechanisms to stop these types of abuses failed long ago.
Yes the checks and balances no longer exist to hold those in power accountable that's been quite clear - accountability has been out the window - hypocrisy and corruption rule

My point really was - as citizens do we want to continue to live as a divided country under the current lawlessness. For those that have not been paying attention - or choose to see reality with rose colored glasses, will now be the defining moment when they get some clarity ?

That was my point.

IMO there is no selling this as anything else than what it is.

To be clear, the tire spun because of the slick pavement, not because of excessive acceleration. Just so we're all on the same page here.
Of course it was because of the slick pavement. I have no problem saying that

And she wasnt blocking the street!
I'll be curious to learn how she ended up in that position in the street. Maybe she was trying to turn around. I don't know. It'll be interesting if her wife, who was with her at the time, ever chooses to speak publicly about what happened. She must be so traumatised 😢

ICE agent named:

The Immigration and Customs Enforcement agent who fatally shot a 37-year-old woman in Minneapolis Wednesday is Jonathan Ross, the same officer who was dragged and injured by a fleeing driver in a separate incident last year, according to a person with knowledge of the case and verified by court documents.
In this ‘similar incident’ Ross broke the car window to open the vehicle door from the inside when the driver refused to get out. Can someone tell me if *that* is ICE protocol?

Also, that case reads to me as though the person they were attempting to arrest was also fleeing…

The VP is promoting personal truth, not factual truth.

He is asking people to have faith in his truth, and emphasizing that critical thinking is unnecessary.

~ in my humble opinion ~
Sorry for more book quotes but this sort of reminds me of something King said about banned books...

"Read whatever they're trying to keep out of your eyes and your brain, because that's exactly what you need to know." - Stephen King

In relation to the killing of Renee, critical thinking isn’t optional. It’s how truth, accountability, and justice are pursued. When leaders dismiss it, we should be asking why.

Why critical thinking is crucial:
- Helps us question official narratives and examine evidence
- Holds people in power accountable
- Protects against manipulation, misinformation, and propaganda
- Leads to better, fairer decision-making
- Supports justice, especially in cases involving harm or loss of life
- Encourages informed empathy rather than blind acceptance

What we lose without critical thinking:
- Truth gets replaced by convenient or simplified narratives
- Harm goes unexamined and accountability + disappears
People become easier to control and mislead
Mistakes are repeated instead of learned from
- Questioning is treated as a threat rather than a necessity

Sorry to go on but critical thinking matters to me. It’s something I think we should all be practising because questioning and understanding matter. jmo.

I think as citizens we need to accept the reality that a subset of the population will never get clarity (ie the cult) and another subset is completely aware and is fine with everything. Those two groups are in charge, and any path forward has to deal with the reality that many people actively want this. They are fine with a growing police state as long as the "others" are the ones being oppressed.

Sadly millions of gullible hateful Americans, we’re already seeing posters at tents to defend and gaslight
Attempts 🤭

That's why, imo, the Fox host emphasized the murder victim's pronouns, to make Renee Good into an "other," to be laughed at, to not care that Renee was killed by an ICE agent.

J.D. Vance is talking right now, explaining the officer was sensitive to a car attack because of a previous incident.

So why is he on duty with a gun?

jmo

And why did he walk in front of a vehicle if he had been dragged by a vehicle the previous year?

IMO she was the lead car in a protest. She had her vehicle positioned that way to block people, cars, ICE and whoever else from getting by.

The vehicle she was driving was stationary and sideways across the road for about three minutes before the fatal confrontation.

Moo...so shooting unarmed protesters is considered ok now?

But we literally see ICE drive by her…

Also, source for the ‘three minutes’ claim?
