IMO she was the lead car in a protest. She had her vehicle positioned that way to block people, cars, ICE and whoever else from getting by.

The vehicle she was driving was stationary and sideways across the road for about three minutes before the fatal confrontation.

She wasn't blocking the road, the video shows at least one car driving past her unobstructed.

And even if she was, that doesn't in any way justify the shooting.

IMO SHE was the one who was blocked in by the grey vehicle with the door hanging open. So she attempted to turn around and go back the way she came. Only ANOTHER ICE vehicle blocked that direction of travel. As multiple ICE agents screamed contradictory commands at her to both MOVE and get out of here, and to get out of her vehicle, she attempted to go around the grey vehicle that was blocking her in and was shot for it.

Blocking the road has never been punishable by death in the past, nor has driving away from a traffic stop. Even for actual capital offenses you get a trial first. The law is very subjective... if a reasonable officers thinks his or another persons life is in danger. This investigation is over before it started.

I find it somewhat insulting to my intelligence that people saying the officer was 100% justified in shooting and killing this woman pretend not to understand the implicit statement that comes with that - that the woman deserved to die as a result of her actions. There’s a lot of false outrage going around right now. MOO

I think it is more likely that her vehicle was positioned that way to get video of the ICE agents who were in the neighbourhood. As an observer.

Her vehicle certainly was not big enough to block the whole street.
