I think some people are viewing the videos without audio and not realizing the car didn't accelerate until AFTER the driver was shot by the agent. A driver shot in the head is not able to control the vehicle. She didn't "ram" anyone.

jmo
And when her tire first spins, it is because of the ice, not rapid acceleration. She involuntarily rapidly accelerates after she is shot.

Moo....many articles are not mentioning that he was tazing guy before and while being dragged. While being tazed people do not have full control of their body..so getting dragged is not a surprise. Obviously bullets work more efficiently.....moo
Maybe he learned a lesson there. There was an agent standing next to the car and appears to have his arm in the window. imo

I'm not convinced that the footage is entirely real. The officer that shoots is in the yellow circle. He draws with his right hand, so he's probably right handed. He probably holds his phone in his right hand as well.

Are we to believe that he was filming with his left hand and shooting with his right hand?

AI is everywhere ... just a thought.

I am also very suspicious of AI and I do think this video should for sure be run through AI checking software to confirm nothing has been edited. However, I believe the reason the video gets shaky at the end is because he is in fact still holding his cell phone in his left hand and trying to un-holster his gun with his right hand and take a shot. His left hand wobbles as he’s shooting and that’s what makes the video shake at the end. Then he straightens out after he takes the shot as the car careens down the street and you see it hit the pole.

Exactly what lesson did he learn? To shoot the driver rather than taze them?

He obviously didn’t learn that for your own safety, you shouldn’t walk in front of a running vehicle.

He shot a woman in the head. Is that the lesson?

Oh look… speaking of using vehicles as a weapon.

“A number of people got in front of the gray sedan, under the impression that a detainee was being taken away, witnesses said. The sedan pushed through the group. One woman was knocked over by the vehicle.

“I had to, like, pick her up to prevent her from getting run over,” Arjun Patel told the CT Mirror.”

Yes absolutely that is what happened. He switches the phone to his left hand as he approaches her side of the car as he his moving to remove his holstered gun.

There is the longer video that was circulating in previous days that does show the officer was holding his phone before pulling out his gun.

I'll put JMO because I don't have a link to it. I probably viewed on this thread at some point.

I saw that footage too. He was indeed filming with his left hand. I’ll try to find it but will also add JMO due to lack of approved source.

I'm not a delicate flower and have seen/heard horrible things (WS cases included), but hearing him call her a b**** after he shot her in the head is offensive to the core. It feels like a punch to the gut to all of us.

How dare he.

I think it was reflex. There's a danger approaching, and he has a gun for defence.

I think it's quite possible that he believed that she was backing up her vehicle to park it. I think he was surprised that she put the vehicle in drive and, with tires spinning on the ice, was heading straight for him as he was passing in front of her vehicle.

If the tires did not spin on the ice for a few seconds, he would have still been in front of the vehicle when she drove forward. It was split seconds to make sense of the situation and react.
Easy to prevent that reaction - Don't have a drawn gun pointed at a car in broad daylight when there are no fugitives in the car, only two housewives and no threat.

Why was his gun drawn? Is that standard? When outside the vehicle gun drawn at all times?

And why was he stopping them?

I offer that ICE guy NO GRACE and I am known as too reasonable to my family and friends.

I just saw his background - he is very seasoned and there is absolutley no excuse for any of it happening.
He put two more bullets into her head from the side of the vehicle thru her drivers side window. That was intentional. I said it yesterday and I will say it again his emboldened ego pulling the trigger.
No way this woman was getting the better of him. He is the worst of us.

He's a loose cannon and a danger to the community on top of being a murderer. He lacks the emotional intelligence to gauge situations and deescalate them.

I am on the other side of the country and I get angrier by the day about this situation.

The victim here is Renee not the ICE guy. He did not even have the humnity or common decency to stay with the scene- he knew he needed damage control and he got out of there before anyone could question him.

yeah. Just so dehumanizing. But telling. That is how he saw her. That is what he thought of her. MOO not just after the fact, but before he chose to kill her.

In his POV, she was an "other" and so, didn't really count

Absolutely despicable.

OK. So now we are de facto using the "it must be AI" bs line if it doesn't fit our views/narrative ?
Despicable.

Very telling. To me it also shows he wasn't "scared", the whole self-defence thing would be laughable if this wasn't so horrific, he was ANGRY. jmo.

We will never see that car again
And after the feds “inspect” it, it will go straight to a junkyard to be crushed. MOO

I said it earlier in this thread, but that’s part of why I hate AI. It has completely destroyed the nature of truth. MOO

He was mad Renee’s wife implied he was fat. And he was seeing red towards these ‘f*cking b*tches’. MOO
