Bit of a change of plans / heart ?

Not sure we've done this before, but we are going to reinstate the OP containing the Alpha News link strictly to show what we are up against in trying to get to TRUTH !!

Please don't link to the actual source again, but we are allowing discussion for members to see the comparison between reliable sources for the initial videos that were made available from the scene to what is now being presented with the expectation that members of the public are expected to believe other than what they've already seen.

Sorry ... we're on the fly here, so hope that makes sense.
It's difficult because disreputable people are posting videos odd places that clearly show a murder, then adding gaslighting narratives that contradict what the video shows, and spew victim blaming lies. Then, since the lies still don't justify murder, the thread gets caught up in discussion about how what never happened shouldn't matter anyway.

The NY Post even posted an article with text that is not backed up by the attached video.

Thank you for what you do.

Except, they do all the time in life and death situations. If the agent is too incompetent to render aid, then medical personnel will. This happens in DUI accidents, mass shootings, etc. It may be a crime scene, but it's also life and death and I have yet to see one other instance of a doctor being denied access to check a pulse on a victim who is shot or gravely injured. If you have, please provide a link.

MOO
And to add to this the Good Samaritan Law protects people in this instance who know and offer first aid to others.

I disagree. LE is not required to start CPR immediately after a shooting if the scene is not secure. IMO

The scene was as secure as it could be. There is no excuse whatsoever for refusing and denying care. It likely wouldn't have mattered, but there was no reason for it.

OK, I can understand that but how was it not secure? People were shouting but that was it, right? A civilian Physician was willing to help!
Well, the shooter was still walking around without restraint. Who knows if he'd get rattled again and start shooting other civilians.

But seriously, I don't understand the cruelty of not rendering aid. ICE shot a civilian in the head and then called her a b****, walked around, left her unaided, and departed.

And, according to the head of their agency, the agents acted according to their training.

I was referring to her allegedly clipping him. She absolutely did not do this. It's all on video. IMO

Renee Nicole Good’s wife screams ‘drive baby, drive’ just seconds before ICE agent shoots her in dramatic footage taken from his phone

“You wanna come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Go ahead,” Rebecca sneers at Ross while filming on her own phone outside the car.

Rebecca then tries to get back into the passenger side, as an agent orders, “Get out of the f–king car” and Renee backs up.

As the car is in motion, Rebecca, who is still out of the car, can be heard shouting, “drive, baby, drive, drive” before Renee peels off and clips Ross, prompting him to open fire.

This is pure fiction. The NY Post should be ashamed of itself.

MOO

You hear it in the video. imo
Absolutely nothing was said about her clipping him.

The Department of Homeland Security has substantially cut back staff and sought to shutter three agencies, the Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties, the Office of the Immigration Detention Ombudsman and the Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman, watchdogs that are tasked in part with investigating instances where there was a misuse of or excessive force by officers and agents. DHS officials have said the divisions were “roadblocks” to immigration enforcement operations.

I fully agree with you.

I don't think she was intending to hit officers, nor do I believe the other protester's command to "Drive baby, drive." was a directive to weaponize the car.

Rather, I think it was an impulsive and poorly thought out order by somebody being "In the moment". I wish the driver had not taken it to heart in the way she did.
I wish the agent didn't shoot her in the head.

How was the scene not secure?
It was secure enough for the agent to leave the scene and make the wrap it up motion.
IMO.

The constant fixation on the victim's actions and not the OFFICER who killed someone is a very bizarre and abhorrent take. Jmo.

Thank you for stating the obvious. The threat was the shooter. MOO.

I imagine he feared that since he was in front of the car and the car was accelerating, the "Drive baby drive drive" command put him danger once she complied with it.

Renee Nicole Good said ‘I’m not mad at you’ before ICE agent shot her, video shows

In the footage, Good is seen being approached while in the driver’s seat of a maroon Honda Pilot stopped across a roadway while a siren blares.

“That’s fine, dude,” Good can be heard saying through an open driver’s window as the agent filming the video walks in front of her car, past her open window and to her back license plate. She continues and appears to say: “I’m not mad at you.”

The masked agent’s reflection then becomes visible on the side of the car and another person’s voice can be heard saying: “Hey – show your face, big boy.” That person appears to be Good’s wife, Rebecca Good, who is then seen holding her own cellphone and heard saying: “We don’t change our plates every morning, just so you know. It will be the same plate when you come talk to us later.”

That person then mentions being a US citizen and adds: “You want to come at us? You want to come at us? I say go get yourself some lunch, big boy. Go ahead.” She then turns to get into the passenger seat of Good’s car when another masked officer can then be seen approaching the driver’s side of the SUV while saying: “Get out of the car. Out of the car. Get out of the fuc**ng car. Get out of the car.”

The agent filming the video has again walked in front of Good’s car from passenger side to driver’s side. Good briefly backs up and drives forward while turning to her right as the woman with her says: “Drive, baby, drive.” The agent’s phone then abruptly points skyward, and he can be heard saying: “Whoa!”

That moment of the clip is consistent with another video in circulation that shows the agent get slightly brushed by the car, which is moving so slowly that the officer is able to easily retain his balance.

Gunshots then erupt without the officer putting the phone down. A voice says, “Fuc**ng bit*h,” as Good’s car briefly comes into view while it drives away. A loud crash is then heard.

If we strip away all the politics, the opinions about the legitimacy of ICE, the emotions, the history, and just look at the facts ...

We have three officers. Two arrive and one orders the woman to get out of her vehicle. It doesn't matter why they did that, it must matters that it happened.

The woman did not get out of her vehicle. She chose to ignore the officers. It's well known that refusing to listen to an officer will escalate the situation.

While she was backing up her vehicle, one of the officers walked in front of her vehicle and towards the other two officers.

While that officer was walking in front of her vehicle, she reversed direction and started accelerating, spinning her front tires on the ice. He interpreted that decision as a threat. He reacted by pulling his weapon and aiming it at her. She didn't stop. He shot her.

Her vehicle continued in the direction she was steering and crashed into a parked vehicle with force.

Take away the noise, and what's left? Officers told a woman to do something, she refused, the situation escalated, the officer believed he was threatened, and we know how it ended.

So if these agencies are shuttered, there will be no accountability at all for ICE? MOO

My point was that she didn't clip him.

Again quite bizarre to keep quoting that but missing out the swear words that were shouted towards both Renee and her wife. Jmo
