The indictments of former Missouri State Highway Patrol officer David McKnight on Tuesday and former Florissant, Missouri, officer Julian Alcala on Wednesday were unrelated, but the indictments spelled out similar allegations. Both men face federal charges accusing them of depriving the rights of several women, and destroying evidence.

what you said. SMH wow, just really really a stupid way to jeopardize a career. Probably best they were caught tho. last thing we need is bozos with badges tasked with transporting and safeguarding female detainees to be the type who think it's ok to abuse their power looking for nude selfies on women's phones. How far behind is committing rape for such an individual?

Do they 'know' Michael Proctor? He...the detective from Karen Read's case who got caught chatting with his friends about searching for nudes on the defendants cell phone illegally? I bet they do now !!!
This shizza is just wrong, man. Dum-azzes.

Unbelievable. Keep a paper copy of your vehicle insurance and registration in your car at all times. Never hand your unlocked phone to an officer (or anyone else for that matter).

agree. I've seen this a lot lately people keeping their insurance card on their phone rather than a paper copy in the glovebox. I've seen body cam video from officers where people haven't got their DL with them and simply pull out their phones as "proof" of DL.

I get that they may find it more convenient but for the reason you stated I personally would never keep that sort of info on my phone.
