We are seeking any information on the where abouts of Aaron M. Armantrout and Susan J. Armantrout.

They may be driving the vehicles in the pictures,

2000 Blue BMW 540i, plates of FR8-A4B

2013 White Chevrolet Silverado, plate of either 4TB-429 or 9PX-349. The truck has factory GMC wheels on it.

If anyone has any info, please call the Sheriff’s Office at 573-883-5820 or Central Dispatch at 573-883-5215.

According the the Ste. Genevieve Sheriff’s Office, a family member called the sheriff’s office for a wellness check on Aaron Armantrout, 36. After arriving at the home, deputies discovered that he had left the night before and his wife Susan Armantrout, 41, was gone as well.

The Ste. Genevieve Sheriff’s Office is also looking into threats on Aaron Amrantrout’s life.

Susan was located. Police said they are working with Susan to learn more about her husband's whereabouts, but still are asking for the public's help.

Police said they are still in need of the public's help in locating Aaron Armantrout and his 2000 Blue BMW 540i vehicle with Missouri plates of FR8-A4B.

[Ste. Genevieve County Sheriff’s Major Jason] Schott said they went out to the area where Susan was located, along with the agency who found her. He added they brought her back to Ste. Genevieve County, along with the vehicle to sit down and start talking to her.

“Without going to into any more details, we may have a break in the case,” Schott said. “We are following up on some leads and hope to have more information available later today. We are still needing the public’s help in locating Aaron and his 2000 Blue BMW 540i vehicle with Missouri plates of FR8-A4B. We are asking the public to look at public places, such as commuter lots and public parking lots.”

The part that’s sticking out for me is her friend popping up out of the blue, and posting that there’s no police tape up since it’s not a crime scene.

It is with sadness that we must release we have located Aaron M. Armantrout this afternoon deceased as well as the 2000 BMW 540i passenger vehicle.

We ask that you keep the family and friends of Aaron in your thoughts and prayers. It is extremely hard losing a family member at any time but especially during the Christmas season, and by such a senseless act.

Aaron is the victim of a homicide and this is a ongoing investigation so detailed information is limited.

The Sheriff’s Office has one person in custody and we are currently seeking charges related to the death of Aaron.

Further information will be released later.

41 year old, Susan Jane (Skaggs) Armantrout of Farmington, has been arrested and charged in the death of Aaron Armantrout.

She is being held at the Ste. Genevieve County Jail on a $1,000,000.00 cash only bond.

She being held on the charges of Murder 1st Degree, a Class A Felony, Armed Criminal Action, an Unclassified Felony and Abandonment of a Corpse, a Class E Felony.

Such a sad end. I wonder if drugs played a role in his death (I’m not saying he was involved in drugs, but the pictures of Susan give the appearance that she is or was an addict at some point). JMO.
