I can only assume that he drowned in some kind of accident on the river? Or he didn't want to be found? So many unknowns!

David Clem Cook also went missing in Butler, MO on November 18, 2008. With that being a smaller area, wouldn't it be likely that the Adam Hale and David Cook knew each other, or at least knew of each other? Irony or something else? I also read that Butler, MO, had some concerning crime rates for such a small area. It is part of the Kansas City metro area?
