I never did get an answer to my email to LE. Maybe that means they are so busy out of the farm with the dogs that they don't have time for emails

Seriously, I do hope that they are doing something to resolve this case. I know it is difficult when there seems to be nowhere to go. Someone knows something and didn't that man who has been putting out a lot of money on rewards..Natalee...give a lot of money for a reward for Amanda and baby?

I just don't understand why this is not in the media more.

I know that there was a reward but I believe the man who gave for Natalee's reward also raised Amanda's up to where it is now.

You know, Amanda was shown on some of the news channels...CNN...Fox...
when she first went missing. I haven't seen her on any of those stations since. Probably because her case is a cold case by now... and Natalee's and Taylor's cases have new things happening.

I still think the baby's dad is responsible and possibly his girlfriend...she at the least knows something as she lawyered up right away.

Have they found Amanda yet? My Mom was just telling me police have found a body in several trash bags in a business dumpster. She thought it was about this case, but I haven't seen anything since she saw it this morning.

They've identified the woman they found in the trash bags as a missing New Jersey woman- there is a story in the Crimes in the News forum here at WS. I searched for updates on Amanda and can't find anything after her birthday 10/6. Anybody else have any info?

I wonder if LE is even doing anything on this case. They must have a good idea that it was the babys bio father. Who else had a motive and was last seen with her? I never did get an answer to the email that I sent LE but then I didn't expect an answer. I still would like to know if they took dogs out to search that farm property and that quarry. I will always believe Amanda and the baby are buried there.

I sure wish that they would share any news that they have... darn them! They must know that we have been sitting here holding our breath for months now I haven't heard a thing on Fox, CNN, MSNBC, etc.
Oh how I wish that Amanda and the baby would be found. This has to be so horrible for her family and her little daughter.

What I don't understand is why he ever called her back. Ok, so, she called him that week before to find out whether he wanted any involvement, etc and maybe he hinted a trace of desparation in her voice or got the impression that she was going to make him a part of the baby's life no matter what. But really all he had to do was not call her back, he hadn't taken a paternity test and I'm not really sure how she would have ever acquired since there was no proof they had more than a one night stand, so it seems like he could have walked away from it all even if it was a small-town type of atmosphere. Or maybe he thought that phone call was a hint at what she would be doing for years to come, calling him out of the blue about "his son" and he couldn't have that? I think the girlfriend is involved too. I wonder what the girlfriend does for a living, whether she would have access to anything that would make someone pass out.

I haven't really heard anything new.

I am sorry I haven't posted on this forum in a while. I think about Amanda quite often, as does my boyfriend and we, too, think she's buried somewhere where she may never be found
We feel like we know her since her story is local and used to be all over the news. Now, we hardly hear anything

I have told some people who I know -- who have told some people they know, one in particular who worked with Amanda -- about this site. Hopefully they can post here themselves, because I really shouldn't post any more from what I had heard through the grapevine previously. Some of it was from a friend of a friend, and it would be best coming from them directly so as not to get lost in translation.
I hope they come post here themselves. I welcome them with open arms.


I also hope LE continues to work hard on this case and follow up on the leads and that justice prevails for Amanda and her family.
