Lot of water on that trip.

My initial reaction. Why was she picking up her children at 3 a.m.? She might have been working a night shift (such as a nursing position, etc), but why wake the children in the middle of the night to pick them up? As @dalsglen pointed out, lots of water along that route of about 30 miles .Google Map: Google Search

The Endangered Advistory is also troubling - could be due to the timeline but we don't know if there were any other circumstances other than she didn't arrive, that warranted this classification.

Eldon is a small town of @ 4,500 folks in the heart of Missouri, only about 30 miles, 30 minutes direct route to Camdenton via highway 54.

What is the “incident” at 3 a.m. they reference that occurred at the town she supposedly left from? How is it known there was an incident? Did she even leave Eldon?

I wondered that too, then realized that the wordage 'the incident" was not from the msm article but simply the opening statement from the person posting to bring her disappearace to our attention. I don't think there was a specific 'event" or "incident" per se that resulted in her disappearing (that we know of) but simply that 3:00 is when she left and wasn't seen again.

Oh ok, so I was interpreting it completely wrong from the start. Thanks @GraceG
