Not that the momster's last name matters, but is it Howell or Peters? Is one a married last name? Was she married to one guy and then the sperm donor "father" of this angel is JLP? Or am I missing something else?

I feel like a crappy mother because of a divorce (yes, 3 kiddos with same baby daddy).... I can't fathom -- WHAT, WHAT, WHAT made this mother betray her child in this way????? WHAT, WHAT, WHAT makes someone lust after a baby?

just overwhelmed by righteous anger and desire to injure, mutilate, etc.... telling myself to breathe....

I hope God will find a way to help us make sure that Ashlynn did not die in vain.

Looking through her posts since her child "fell asleep in Jesus' arms" (as the obituary reads)... in the days after the murder the posts are as if the baby died peacefully in her sleep. Knowing what she's accused of (pimping out her 4-month old), it's disturbing seeing her posts.

I saw the comment I think you were referring to. It wouldn't surprise me at all. I imagine she has a rich history of poor parenting (to say the least)-- abuse or neglect. Documented or undocumented. I wonder how many people witnessed this going on and knew she had this sex offender baby daddy around and never said a thing.

He needs the death penalty. IMO. But really. That means a trial, right?

I can't stand the thought of trials for either of these two. I can already hear some very predictable but pathetic defenses which won't make any difference for him and hopefully won't for her either. Certain crimes should have a fast track to death row. Raping and murdering a 4-month old is one of them.

I don't think he was the father. This is just my pet theory. I have nothing concrete to base it on.

I think he was told he was the father, somehow he found out that he wasn't and they broke up. I think she wanted to get him back in her life so she offered her daughter as a "present" or some such twisted ****. Hence, he had no problem doing what he did to her because it wasn't his child.

Prince is currently awaiting trial for first degree murder in the death of four-month-old Ashlynn Lilith Peters. Police allege that Prince strangulated Ashlynn after sexually assaulting her.

Reading about this babys' injuries...it was horrific. She endured absolute and total horror.

I'm just waiting to hear about what kind of defense these sorry, no-good,scum-suckers come up with. "I was physically/sexually abused as a child" I have ADHD/detachment disorder, I'm insane,mentally ill"

I don't really know. But I wonder if perhaps he might have stifled her screams while he was raping her. But when he finished he couldn't keep her from screaming. Rather than continue with whatever he did to prevent the screams, he strangled her?

Either that or during the rape he "strangulated" her to prevent her screaming.

See that's different... I thought it was weird that is said he killed her AFTER.
That didn't make a whole lot of sense... (not that any of it DOES, but you know what I mean.)
I just wondered if the goal was to kill her for some reason.

I think perhaps she continued to scream after he was done with her. And you know what happens in so many of these cases when they want them to shut up.
