**
Senath, MO (KSDK) - The FBI announced Thursday two bicycle training wheels believed to be from the bicycle that disappeared with pre-schooler Breeann Rodriguez were found Wednesday approximately two hours southeast of Breeann's home.

I am 99% sure this is a typo and it is 2 MILES.

Here is HollyE's map:

If the perp was someone smart...
Who had maybe paid attention to previous abductions where the perp was caught...
Who had seen what those perps did wrong...

This perp didn't leave a witness.
This perp didn't leave the bike.

What if this perp also came from several hours away... knowing that they would look at people close by?
What if this perp is now discarding items close to Breeann's house, to strengthen that "it's always someone close" theory?
This could make investigators think they were looking in the right place and mislead them...

While he could be 3, 4, 5, 6 hours away with Breeann... and no reason for anyone to suspect him...
That is what I am starting to think may have happened in this case if it was a stranger abduction. :twocents:

Breeann case on HLN in an hour....

I was thinking it's possible that if the abductor tossed Breeann's bike onto the bed of a truck, perhaps the training wheels came off, and they fell off while riding away with it and her?

Otherwise the only other thing I can think tha feels possible to me is that she did indeed get lost while riding off, and the wheels came off? Two miles seems far, but there have been other cases where small kids can cover a lot of distance when they get lost, and possibly the adults are looking in one place while the kid is going another?

I just don't get a bad vibe from the parents at all. They seem completely, sincerely, bewildered and devastated to me. :(

How does one manipulate training wheels in regards to height of the trike?
I would think you'd need to manipulate the seat to adjust the height.. am I wrong?

I have limited experience w/ trikes as my LO is not even 1, so any insight would be great thanks.

I don't think a trike needs training wheels.
