How old is the brother who went in for a drink of water?

This is why I am not believing the mom saw her out the window.

Also time can go by quickly and it is hard to sometimes estimate the exact time... I learned that when my children were little.

Look out and see them then think ut oh I don't hear them what are they doing...look out and they're not there when I could have sworn that it hadn't been more than a minute or two.

So, according to Dad, @ 10 am Breeann is still sound asleep. By noon she has gone missing. And a lot has happened in that time. She woke up, got dressed, ate breakfast, then rode her bike around the cul-de-sac with her brother, he came inside for 20 minutes, then went back outside and she was gone. Then mom goes to look for her too, and as they do that, Dad comes back home and sees them and helps them search. Then they call 911.

I can't quite see someone hitting a child with their car and being in a frame of mind to instantly scoop up all signs of the accident and racing off and no one sees/hears anything. Plus there should have been significant evidence of an accident, I would think and maybe broken bike parts, blood...well, maybe there was, who knows...

I can't really see it, either, to be honest. I have to really really use my imagination to picture it.

I think LE is stating the 911 call came in around 12:00 noon, and the mother and father are saying they looked for about 30-45 minutes.

So that would make time of disappearance about 11:15- 11:45 am...

therefore they would of had to go outside about 10:30 -10:45....

Your right Katydid23 doesn't add up real well....

Hmmmmmm :waitasec:

The only type of person I can see reacting this way would be an impaired one. It happens. I don't think this is what happened here though.

I think the father's timeline is plausible. Breakfast doesn't have to mean anything involved, it might just be a pop-tart, especially if she got up later. If she got up at 10:15, she could be dressed and out on her bike by 10:30. Lots of time to ride bikes before her brother gets thirsty. And when he comes in for a drink, he gets distracted before going back out.

As far as Dad and the auction, he might have gotten there and not seen anything interesting, so he didn't hang around all that long. Was the auction close by? Even if it was a 1/2-hour away or something, that's still plenty of time to spend some time there and get home.

The timeline's not arousing any suspicion with me at this point.

LOL I understand...I have a great imagination and believe anything is possible. Just throwing it out that as a possibility. As I said, it's better than thinking about what it could be.

and he looks little, you can see a small glimpse of him in one of the videos with parents.

..in the Today Show you-tube (post #540) the reporter says:

"with 3 other small children to care for....."

..it may have been one of the other kids shown in the video that you saw, and not the 5 year old.

..also, he says he came home-----the mother and 5 year old were out looking for breeann ( i hope they had someone watching the other small children while she was out doing this..)

..do we know the ages of the other siblings?
