The affidavit in this article, definitely says he discovered a Mexican female B.R standing on the ladder at the pool in his back yard.

Oh Lord. Yes I know, Jo. If you look at the post I was responding to, it was claiming that the descriptions given during the search for Brianna said "Mexican" female. I was responding that they did not. I also stated that the affidavit states Mexican female. If you go upthread, you'll see that I was the first this morning to post about it.

Here's the post I was responding to, which I quoted in my post that you responded to:

When cops were looking for her, the description was ' Mexican female child' or something close to that. Police reports always use terms like that. So I can see the report written in that way. I am not sure who said what in that report. It is not made very clear, imo.

Here's my post in response, which you quoted:

The descriptions I've seen, and just found on Google are Hispanic, not Mexican.

It's clear to me that the LEO is giving his sworn affidavit of what the perp said to him, but then, I've followed a lot of these cases. This is definitely an affidavit - a probable cause affidavit - and not a police report or a missing person report.

I can't see why LE would substitute "Mexican female" for child, or her, if that is what he had said...

So you think that he said to the cops " I discovered a Mexican female, Breeann Rodriquez, standing upon my ladder, at the pool in my backyard."

Because that sounds more like the way cops write reports than something he would actually say.

Maybe he said " I saw the little Mexican girl on my pool ladder." But that does not mean it was a hate crime. I think it was a sexual crime of opportunity. His wife and kids were out of town and a girl wandered into his yard. Being 'Mexican' had nothing to do with it, imo.

It just doesn't equal common sense. He finds her standing on the pool ladder so he takes her inside and suffocates her? Why? This guy needs to rot in hello.

Hopefully they will find her soon - they have found the bike.

Her poor family - my prayers go out to them. RIP little Breeann

In the affadivit, it says " During the interview, Morgan stated that he discovered a Mexican female, BR, standing on the ladder at his pool in the backyard."

I cannot see him saying to the police " I saw a Mexican female on my pool ladder." I do not believe that. I think the cop was just describing the situation in cop-speak. imoo

I think it is much more likely that he said " I saw HER standing on my pool ladder." And the cop put the other identifying terms in there.

The LEO is not giving a police report. He's giving a sworn affidavit of what the perp said.

"Morgan stated that... he discovered a Mexican female"

I think this may well be a racial hate crime.

Hi, I live about 30 miles from the floodway ditches. I drove over them yesterday and they are about normal for this time of year,,that is low.
I would estimate about 3" deep with very little flow.
These ditches converge at Big lake,, but at this time of year most of the water is directed to the large ditch just to the west of the NWR.
Usually there are fish in these waters,, the exception would be a fish kill from high temps.
Lots of turtles and other wildlife living in the thickets that separate the ditches

I work at Tenaris ,,,SM looks familiar but there are over 1000 employees in 3 building working all different shifts. When I return to work tomorrow I'm sure to hear the Dirt on SM.

I live in an area where there are alot of racists. Sometimes hispanics are referred to as "damn mexicans" by a racist. It could be the cop "cleaned" it up a little and he did make a racist remark. This is the firt thought I had when I read it. It is all so sad, I hope they find her soon and punish this *@$#%$ 🤬🤬🤬 s harsh as it can get. I feel so bad for both families.:twocents:

1st story was he hit her with vehicle
2nd story Breeann was using his toilet
3rd story is that Breeann was on his pool ladder.
SM trying to make up stories as he goes along.
IMO he lured her, took her, did the unimagineable to her, murdered her and threw her away......................
He is garbage and does not deserve to breathe our air!

I was in court this morning so I just now got the update about his detailed confession. As I thought, no accident. I tend to think he molested her in some way before he killed her. Or, he's insane with some sort of rage. Either way, he is evil.

Poor baby. I;m so sad for her family.

Kat, I'm really not trying to argue with you on your opinion.
If you notice on my post on page #16 #388, I was merely giving my opinion and my opinion only.

Sorry if i missed this earlier in the thread but anyone have a thoery as to why the training wheels were removed before the perp discarded the bike?

ETA: nevermind... i read the probable cause report.

Where he said he put her body:

"over a railing" into "floodway ditches on MO Hwy 164"

Where he said he put her bike:

"same river system as the body"

I'm not sure if they mean the same spot, or just generally the same system.

Wow. Okay they found the bike, but not little Breeann. I do not believe this guy's story. How did a 3 year old get to the pool? Doesn't MO have laws that say the pool has to be fenced from access by small children? Maybe that's only in California?

I don't know, but it doesn't ring true to me. How would she get through the back yard fence? Or was there a fence?

Welcome Don! Thank you for your observations of the area. I know this is a hard question but do you think it's possible to miss a body in these waterways at this time of year?

Well I do. Given the way the report is written, I tend to believe that SM made some comment about Breeann's race. Which then leads me to think that he may have harmed her, not only because he had the opportunity, but because of her race. Definitely leading me down that road.

Thinking Breeann is Mexican - I don't know if she is or not - sure has something to do with it, or else her murderer would not have stated it, as we have the sworn testimony of an officer of the law that he did.

To say her murderer's perception of her as Mexican had "nothing" to do with it, trivializes what happened to this poor baby.

Murderers and rapist usually do have more than one motivating factor for their acts, which are acts of violence and hatred.

My opinion.

My theory is that the bike was in his house with Breeann. After he killed her, he had to dispose of the evidence and it was easier to do that if the bike was disassembled so it could be carried out of the house without being obvious. JMO.

Thank you, don! Are those thickets lush and thick right now? Only 3 inches deep? That's not deep at all!

Isn't it possible that this cruel man is racist AND he did something sexual to her because of his beliefs??

  • #440
So it sounds like the bike was found before the discussions here on Fri/Sat about the photos and whether they were accurate or not...no wonder why LE was not too worried about that...
