They seemed to be going over his house with a fine tooth comb yesterday. I noticed they even had the attic stairs lowered in the carport to check it out. I wonder if the scaffolding in front of the house was there before or if LE is using it?

Is there a link for this with photos or video? I must have miseed it. Thanks!

The video with this article from CNN has a phone interview with the prosecutor. Remains not found, won't comment on motive, won't comment on what else he knows about Morgan outside of the info in the affidavit.

According to Dunklin County Sheriff Bob Holder, nearly 50 searchers, search dogs, two helicopters, and several boats are currently canvassing the drainage ditch area east of the rural farming community.

Holder said authorities have yet to come across anything of interest and the search is ongoing.

The road leading to the river access point at Pierce Landing at Hornersville has been closed as authorities try to keep locals from compromising the area.

I wonder if the ladders will be taken soon to a crime lab to be tested for prints or any evidence that she touched them at all. WTH???? Hmmmmm.....JMO This makes me think that LE doesn't believe the pool story either.

I am so sorry for the family of this precious child, but I am also sorry for what the perp's family has to go through. Everyone will sympathize with the victim's family, but no one will understand what the perp's wife and children will go through, and it will be worse for them in some ways than it is for Breann's family. The Morgan family will be shunned and mocked and the children will suffer in ways they won't be able to deal with. My heart goes out to them as well as the parents of this little girl.

As for blaming the parents, they don't deserve that. Not many parents are so diligent about watching their children every second, yet out of the many who sometimes leave their child unattended for five or 10 minutes because they get distracted somehow... very few end up with a child murdered. The rest are lucky. If Morgan had been five minutes later looking outside, she could have gone into his pool and drowned and we wouldn't be here talking about it. HE is the one who is to blame for this tragedy. He murdered this child for whatever sick reason, not the parents. And if it had not happened this way, it could have happened some other way, or been some other child. Even considering that she was left unattended for 20 minutes... he did not HAVE to snatch her off that ladder and suffocate her. That's all on his back... no one else's.

I read the new report on Yahoo, that she was on the ladder of his pool in his yard, and that is why he killed her. I also feel this is racially motivated, because I looked up the percentage of hispanics in Senath Missouri and there are not many, most of the town is white. I think probably these kids came in his yard before, and he didn't like it, so this time when he saw she was alone, he was going to take action and send a message to the hispanic family. This sounds like something that would happen here in Alabama, where it is very racist against Mexican people. This is sick and I hope he fries for this.

Not sure what part you live in, but I don't know ANYONE who lives in Alabama near me that would kill a 3 year old child because they were of a different race, Hispanic, white, black, or any other. It's not "very racist against Hispanic people" here. Please don't label an entire state of people based on an isolated area or experience.

I happen to live in Tuscaloosa, an area that was devastated by tornadoes on April 27. The areas that were hardest hit were predominantly black and low income. What you won't hear on the national news is how every church and every group, regardless of race, creed, or status, was out in full force repairing and supporting our communities post tragedy. While I agree that there are a few bad eggs of EVERY race, the majority of Alabamians are decent, kind, hospitable people who would never harm anyone.

I wonder if the parents first language is Spanish.
Were the polys given in Spanish, if so?

If they really did fail it may be that the reason is as simple as a language barrier and cultural differences (fear of LE in general etc...).

IMO

So sad. It is getting to the point that after I read about all these tortured children I have to get up, go outside and literally scream:banghead:When does it end? Evil cannot win!!

Karnes said the Federal Bureau of Investigation has given polygraph tests to the parents, and he feels the parents are clear.

"I feel like they are [cleared]," Karnes said.

Karnes = Senath Police Chief Omar Karnes

WTH! I thought someone said MO had the DP.

http://www.masoncountydailynews.com...-killer-seemed-to-take-an-hour-for-her-to-die

The suspect is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday at 9 a.m. at the Dunklin County Courthouse.

Morgan faces a sentence of life in prison without parole if convicted.

The DP is available in MO, but the prosecutor has to decide whether to pursue it. He can tack it on later. He's probably waiting until they find her body to see if he can get more evidence before he decides whether to pursue it.

Question if SM disposed of Breeann in Arkansas and not Missouri like he said will this bring in federal charge for bringing her little body over state lines?
