The Hannibal Police Department announced Feb. 20 that the identity of the person whose remains were found at the Mark Twain Cave Complex on Cave Hollow Road is Brian Snyder, the Hannibal man who's been missing since 2022.

Family members said they flagged Cave Hollow Road from day one, but it took nearly four years for authorities to find Snyder's remains there.
