Agreed. And the choice of words, well, if you didn't know a person was missing - you might just have inferred it is a post about a missing dog.Well that would have been an important detail to put out right away?
“Items found at the scene suggest she might be injured.”
What items?
"They found Brittany's truck down here. Blood around it and on her truck. She was nowhere to be found." -Kathy Spence, Brittany's aunt
She was last seen at a residence west of Mountain View, about 3 to 4 p.m. on Wednesday, May 20, and at that time was reportedly believed to be headed to Winona and may have a small dog with a black and brown head with her.

Which link provided info on dog? I guess I’m looking over it.
Yes yes yes.
Mr. Laughing grew up in this area. I refer to the language pattern as speaking Ozarkstani. I met him at college, of course, where he had code-switched to Standard English. I was startled the first time I visited his family! Some linguists consider this a regional dialect & some use the term "Hickenish."
As an example, "you'uns" is a bigger group than "y'all," and a smaller group than "all y'all."
Notice that boyfriend Mr. Roberts also says "she had came down" about sleeping in the truck, usage not found in Standard English. And, IMHO, Mr. Roberts ain't from 'round here.

National Park Service seeks information from the public to help locate missing woman - Ozark Radio News
Above is the link where I read the following: items found at the scene suggest she might be injured.
What items? Have no idea; haven’t come across any info on that!
I live in the nearest town to Buck Hollow (locally known as "River Hill"), and graduated with Dylan, the father of one (at least) of her 3 kids. I checked out the link on Buck Hollow, and the reality of the location is not nearly as dangerous as it is inferred through the link. The Buck Hollow access point, where her truck was found, is just barely off the highway, and completely visible. That's not to say it's impossible to encounter danger there. However, it is far more likely for a local to be injured by jumping off of the bridge into the river than someone being lost or accidentally injured. This does not account for head injury, etc., in which case getting lost would be more realistic. The word here is her family is trying to get permission to have the porta potties drained in order to cross that off the list. Also, we had torrential rain last wee
