*Case Review Hearing for both (@ 8am CT) – MO – 4 children (3 girls & 1 boy, ages 5 to 12 locked in small windowless boxes discovered 8/7/18, Farmington) – *Laura Elizabeth Cheatham (38/now 39) (adopted “mom”) arrested & charged (8/7/18) with 5 counts of endangering the welfare of a child & 3 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping. Plead not guilty. $500K bond; bond reduced (8/28/18) to $250K. St. Francois County-#18SF-CF01148-01
Cheatham posted $250,000 bond on 9/14/18, & has been released with GPS monitoring & restrictions that she not have any contact with the children.
*Daryl Justen Head (38/now 39) (mom’s bf) arrested & charged (8/7/18) with 5 counts of endangering the welfare of a child & 3 counts of 2nd degree kidnapping. Plead not guilty. $500K bond; bond reduced (8/28/18) to $250K.
Head posted $250,000 bond on 9/10/18 with no GPS monitoring and no restrictions.
Trial set to begin 5/12 to 5/14/20 for both
9/4/19 Day 31 – Trial has been continued. Next Case Review hearing on 4/17/20 for both. Trial set for 5/12 thru 14.
