Articles upthread indicate that the remains found in Columbia, Missouri were there quite a while.

Remains did not stay at the coroner's -- remains were delivered to the anthropology museum on the University of Missouri campus.

Although reasonable geographically as I-70 crosses with Indiana & Missouri, I'm not sure these remains could be Amiah.

We'll have to wait & see!

(Decades ago I lived in Columbia, and at least once followed a friend to McKnight Tire to have new tires put on their car!)

On June 14, 2022, someone called the Columbia Police Department to report a letter found at a local hotel.
Jones said the letter led police to Daniels and Fountain.
Such a sad case.

She has been identified and her parents arrested - wow. Her name was Samone. Good work to all involved in identifying her and pursuing justice now.
