You said you made friends with Ebony's Aunt, could you ask her about the tracking device in her car, bank activity and a timeline or invite her over here to fill in the missing blanks?

No news on Ebony? Where is she?! :(

If this were a white woman and the name East St. Louis was replaced with the name Creve Couer, we'd be seeing all kinds of furor. Just saying.

Upstream it was mentioned that Ebony drove from OKC to STL with a three month old baby. Then, she was heading to Denver to visit her mother.

Does it strike anybody else as strange she would undertake this trip...alone...with a three month old baby in the car? Then she planned to turn around and drive with the baby to Denver, which according to mapquest is a 13 hour drive. When my children were that age, a 30 minute trip was too much for me. My littles would see their car seat and immediately arch their backs and scream.

If...If...If the baby had a difficult trip and possibly a difficult couple night....and if Ebony was having a hard time finding somebody to stay with (we do not know where she stayed the two nights before she disappeared), I could see the possibility that she left the baby in a safe place and left to get her head together.

But she did know people in STL - Why not leave the baby with somebody she knew and take her break?

It wasn't unusual for her to take road trips it seems. If the baby was a very good baby I could see her doing this. I wouldn't drive 7-13 hours alone with a 3 month old but many people do and think nothing of it.

Did they say how the missed call was a clue?

Maybe they were able to determine her location at the time of the missed call from phone records?

I sure wish we knew who this 'friend' was that she was visiting with. This 'friend' has not come forward which is very strange.

The baby was left very close to where the cousin lived that she was on her way to see. I wonder if she got a little turned around/lost on the way (which relatives said was not unusual for her) and drove into the wrong neighborhood.

We haven't heard anything more about this tracking device that was placed in her car. Supposedly she had gps and a tracking device installed in her car because she was known to get lost and confused sometimes. Well track the darn car!

I sure hope LE does a thorough investigation. I didn't feel like they did on Phoenix Coldon.

FWIW - My DD was a veryyyyyyy chill baby and would do long car rides like a champ. Even at [almost] 3, she still does pretty well. driving a lot is something we've always done, so she is/was just used to it.

I was thinking about this case last night before going to bed. I wish it had more coverage & word was spreading more. However, we all know how tight-lipped LE can be with these cases. My thoughts are... if this was the person she was hanging out with when she said she was with a "friend", I would imagine her cell phone activity will show what areas they traveled to and perhaps there will be another phone that has pinged in these same places at the same times as hers. Plus.. if she was making arrangements to meet up with this person, she most likely would have called or texted them at some point.. before her trip even started and/or while enroute. I would think LE should have a pretty good idea who she was in contact with during those times.

I just wish they'd release cell phone activity information. I also wish it seemed like they were treating it more like foul play than a mother who abandoned her child.

How did the police identify the baby belonged to Ebony? Was there some type of identifying information with him?

Two of my kids were great road trippers. I had them young, and took them everywhere, lots of road trips. As babies they just slept, as toddlers and young kids, they were great at amusing themselves.

My second two kids were screamers as babies though, and never slept in the car. I stopped road tripping for a while with those two. :D

Especially at three months, babies still sleep a lot, especially in the car. So I don't see it as unusual.

As far as the court case website, be sure to check the middle initial, and the dob. There are many different EJs. I would hate to see this missing mom linked With something that has nothing to do with her.

Hoping LE has a presser or at least a statement today. :please:

According to video above, EJs cousin saw the baby's picture on the news and recognized him, and I think that started the ball rolling.

I do have to agree that she had to be in phone contact with the 'friend' before meeting up and phone records would at least provide a telephone number for this friend. And possibly some area's where her phone was. Something tells me that LE hasn't even gotten that far yet.

Also if she does really have some type of tracking device on her car I would think it would be quite easy to locate it.

I sure hope LE hops on this quick.
