My first time posting, but I've been reading this thread for days.

Has LE said what the note said, other than it was handwritten and led to AB?
no... and I have often wondered if it was texts, emails, tweets, online posts, or the like (as her ms is shut down)

I agree. And, as I was writing it I was thinking the same thing. That these things probably mean slightly something different depending on what area you are in and who you talk to.

My son, who is 18, said there is emo style and emo lifestyle. He likes to wear the skinny jeans and such, for example, but he's not into the depression of it. Just like anything, there are extremes.

As nutty as it may or may not seem, I have to be honest, I thought about that possibility too.

I thought maybe AB had him for a teacher and maybe they had to write an essay or something and maybe she wrote one that spoke of death and/or killing someone and he just blew it off as it just being an essay and thought nothing more to it. And then, when he heard what happened, he couldn't live with the guilt of not taking it more seriously.

Yup. I did think of that. Don't laugh.

Bigtime rumor at this link. Sounds like the game of telephone maybe, facts and rumors twisted and combined. But who the hell knows?

I'll be honest with you guys, I did not think his suicide was a coincidence...just had one of those major hinky feelings about it!

HOW HORRIBLE if this is true!

By the way, Cornfed Hick...I don't think I've had the pleasure of meeting you before! Welcome to Websleuths!

About the teacher. I read somewhere that last week he was sick and threw up in class or something (presumably before this all started?), and the idea was that he found out he had terminal disease or something. Again could be all just baseless speculation. But, based on the comments of sandhouse over at the NewsTribune articles and the closed school board meeting yesterday, it seems something is fishy.

Complete speculation on my part here.

I read somewhere that it was because of an illness as well. It doesn't mean that this crime didn't send him over the edge, however. One way or another, I'm sure we'll find out at some point.

Thanks for the welcome Kimster. Its a tragic event, this thing happened three miles from my house. I'm a transplant to this community so I'm not real plugged in to the social networks etc, so I really have no first hand facts/rumors to pass along.

Anyhow, about the teacher/JCHS BoE. Here's a link to the article with the comments. It sounds like sandhouse knows something, he posits his posts very strongly. I'll hafta say though, the NewsTribune website comments is about as big of an internet mudslinging barfight as any around, even before this happened.

I've been thinking about the 15 year old perp. It is quite obvious that this child has some major problems, and most likely they can be directly related back to her family life and upbringing. My understanding is that her father is incarcerated, and her mother has her own legal issues.

The child perp is being cared for by her grandparents. Quite often, elderly folks will not seek out professional help, especially for psychiatric issues. It is not so much that they are in denial of any problems, but rather that they will just deal with things within the family. They likely (obviously) had no idea that the problems with this child were so severe.

A lot of times, not reaching out for help is based on embarrassment of the situation, or just never wanted to admit to themselves that "one of their own" could be in need of mental health intervention.

Can anyone(if its not against TOS)point me in the direction of where I can find the supposed 'Twitters' from AB as well as any other pertinent info(i.e the MySpace etc)??

Go back to a post with the quotes. Enter one of the more unusual quotes into Google and it comes right up. Or you can enter AB's name. There are several people with her name, but it will be obvious which one is her.

I was wondering why the dogs didn't get a hit...if these rumors are true, I can understand what LE means by "well hidden".

Oh man....here is another person with the same rumor. We might need to hold on to our seats on this one! I'm completely horrified!

That poster (it appears) is from VA. I wonder where she is getting this information from. A few of the things she stated, I have not heard yet. Of course, I am only reading here, and following a link or two here to the comments sections of the newspapers. Is there somewhere else out there that is posting more of this "rumor" type info?

This perp is beginning to remind me of the Manson girls.
