It was actually a comment by a 15 yo girl on a kareoke site who said "great job sis" and I first thought maybe she was her sister, so I started checking that girls first name and AB's last name and found someone - then realized it was AB's bio mom's name. I think the 15 yo girl, just happened to share the same first name and I jumped to conclusions because it said "sis" on there.

I know what you mean about sis too - because my brother and his wife call my niece sis.

GOTCHA, I didn't know that it had an actual age on it. But I get it now!

I've been seeing a lot of "blogs" today that have quotes or comments left by people claiming to be friends of the victim or friends of the accused and are giving a lot of details of this case that they've heard around town. If LE is so tight lipped about all of this, where are these "rumors" coming from.

I wonder if she didn't tell someone before she got caught?
If someone knew all the details before LE got ahold of her. I mean SOMEONE had to of known to pass LE the "note" that led them to HER! I wonder how much that person actually knew.

as a matter of fact if you look at the photo where he was bigger he was in MSP (Missouri State Prison) at that time, that was taken before he was moved to MECC! but when you click on the photo the site still says Missouri Eastern Correctional Center.

Were you homeschooled?

If I want to know anything going on around town, I visit our local high school!

I work in the Legal world ;P and a DA friend of mine gave me some interesting info I thought I would share.
We're in CA and I'm sure MO laws are a lot different, but the mind set of a defense attorney is pretty much the same. Again...;P
He informed me that in the best interest of the client (suspect) if she is certified as an adult she will most likely (95% sure) she will plead not guilty. Guilty would mean automatic life sentence considering she doesn't qualify for the DP. Eventhough there is a confession (pretty sure considering she led them to the body) the defense will go for a mental issues/diminished capacity type of defense to get her sentenced reduced.
The only likely scenario that she would plead guilty would be if she is kept in juvenile court where even a guilty plea would have her released back into society at the ripe age of 25.

No I completely get that. I guess what i was trying to mean was that not all of those "descriptions" of the crime could have been just made up out of the blue. Somebody has to be saying something.

Interesting info! No wonder her attorney is working on keeping her name out of the media and working on the juvenile aspect... How about her age? I read a rumor that she is nearly 16 years old. Will that make a difference, in your co-worker's opinion?

Just a word of warning since you are new here...I'm a stinker. Shhh...don't tell anyone I admitted to it! I'll deny everything!

I think that's why he's probably pushing to keep the details of the crime out of the media as well. He's going to try and make her look as much of an innocent 15 yo "lil girl" as possible.

Almost doesn't count in a court of law. Its the age the person was when he or she comitted the crime. Considering that this whole process..pre-trial...trial..could take anywhere from two to three years, by the time sentencing comes she could be 18 (which would technically make her eligible for the DP) which is why they go by the age of the person on the date the crime was committed.

What I meant was (and I was being too silly to be detail oriented at the time, my BAD!) - Do they look at her as being more apt to be able to try her as an adult because the crime was committed when she was almost 16? I guess I don't understand how they make the distinction as to whether they will try a person as an adult or not. Is it age? Is it by maturity level? Is it a lot of factors combined?

People make up the rumors. Someone writes one thing or says something, then the next person spices it up and then everyone takes it from there.
