What I meant was (and I was being too silly to be detail oriented at the time, my BAD!) - Do they look at her as being more apt to be able to try her as an adult because the crime was committed when she was almost 16? I guess I don't understand how they make the distinction as to whether they will try a person as an adult or not. Is it age? Is it by maturity level? Is it a lot of factors combined?

The technical factors they look at are the heinousness (not sure if that's a real word..haha) of the crime, the mental state of the "child" at the time of the crime, criminal background, etc....

The reality is he's going to look at the backlash he'll get from the community if she isn't tried as an adult. All the media attention this is getting and what decision would most benefit his career.

hi everyone, i just stumbled on this:

http://www.youtube.com/user/OkamiKage

it's ab's youtube channel. she hasn't logged on in a year, but even back then she listed her hobbies as killing people & cutting.

there's a video of her getting her brothers to touch an electric fence among others.

I saw her pics on the social websites, but something about seeing the video and hearing her voice is eerie.

Thanks for the post

I doubt she had an older sister considering the age of her parents. However kids these days call each other sisters

She doesn't have an older sister that I know of. She is the eldest.

Noticed on the Dad's info that he's only 34...which would have made him 18/19 at the time his daughter was born. Not saying it has any relevance but as my Grandmother says...too often these days kids are having kids and can't raise 'um right.

this is just mean. Granted yes something went wrong but. well... but I was 14 when I had my first (pregnant at 13) and I did raise mine well and also received my RN degree. So not "all teenage parents" are bad. Just the few "bad seeds - but not the whole bushel". I am now 40 and my youngest just turned 20.

All the info on all the pages no matter what photo is showing is current! the info doesn't change when you look at different photos only the photo!

They take updated pics when they change prisons I think. So it looks like he's losing weight on that bread-n-water.

It's not relevent but I figured out why I found someone in MO with that name and it is because that is AB's bio mom's first name too.

Her first name begins with an "M".

HAHA I wish my tax dollars were spent on only bread and water. I know for a fact what they get fed, and althought it is not steak and shrimp, it is far from bread and water!

I can get you a menu if you would like! :D

OK by no means did I mean to offend anyone as I said "not saying this has anything to do with it". I had my son when I was young and never said that "all teenage parents" are bad. And never made any reference to the "whole bushel" of young mothers. I am a young mother. But as a young mother you know how difficult it was to overcome that and the effort it takes to raise your child well. I do. And her father as a teenager probably didn't have the mind set to make that effort. I was simply making an observation as to why her parents were absent and why SHE (the suspect) was raised by people other than her bio parents.

Is it or not? It looks like it to me but I want some other opinions. The date all seem to be from over a year ago.

I don't feel it is the same person.

When did her grandparents actually start raising her? I know they got guardianship in 2005 (the dad was already in prison at this time). but do we know when they started living with her? I know the legal aspect of guardinship can take a while. But the youngest child was ??six?? so did she ever live with her mother? Does anyone have this information??

I saw she made two others too...you can see them by clicking on her sn. Better watch them now before they go bye-bye with everything else.

Does sn = screen name?

:mears:

You are right! (I am out of my mind with a head cold - so I am really OFF today). Ugggh.

Are the mom's initials M.G.B.?

No I completely get that. I guess what i was trying to mean was that not all of those "descriptions" of the crime could have been just made up out of the blue. Somebody has to be saying something.

I am local. There are some straight up rumors out there but and there are some facts being repeated. Keep in mind that the central Missouri area is very "small town." It is not as transient as many communities and there are many families who have lived here and have known each other for five or six generations. For example - anyone in the area who cared to know her name, where she lived, etc. knew it within 24 hours of her arrest.

In addition, there were over 100 people on site assisting with the search. Many more volunteers were turned away. There were people bringing in food, helping at the VFW, etc..

The disadvantage of being "small town" is that everybody knows your business. The advantage is that they will all be there in a nanosecond to help if you need them.

And then you have the families involved. Not just the immediate family, but aunts, uncles, cousins and their close friends. They are going discuss it; they need to discuss it, to process it and grieve. They will discuss among themselves and with others. There are some that are angry that the truth is not getting out and AB's identity is being protected and I'd say this is to be expected.

Take all this together and you'll understand why there are a lot of details in this case that are known. I think there might be a lot of embellishments coming from the high school - but the information I've heard from adults close to the case has stayed pretty consistent.
