I am not sure that the parents knew EO was at AB's. The 6 year old was in the woods when she wasn't supposed to be. Therefore, I don't know that the grandparents knew EO was there, and I don't know that EO's mom knew she was at AB's. The three girls may have met up in the woods themselves.

Now that was pure speculation. I have seen several people say that the grandparents didn't know EO was there. If that is true, EO's mom could have been in the same boat. EO's mom could have thought that she was in the woods, but knew nothing more.

That day was probably the only day that week it didn't rain here. It was actually very nice that day, which is why kids were playing out side. They had been couped up for the last several days.

I have read the EO was afraid of the woods. IF thats the case why would she be in the woods. It is my understanding that EO was over at AB's playing with the 6 yo outside the house.

Wow, if this is true, to me it says she felt some kind of remorse afterwards, and therefore KNEW right from wrong! She better be tried as an adult... is all I can say.

Exactly. It was Wednesday night which is a night when most churches are open. Perhaps she had plans to go to church and stayed home instead and killed the girl?

Reading through ALL the posts can get confusing, especially on the "timeline" issue. Being all the way in CA I know that most likely any information about this case will soon dwindle in the media's eye and won't be reported. I doubt if we'll know anything for sure until a trial...if and when there is one.

Guys-- I just got news of a tragic death (not a murder!) of one of my DD16's classmates. I might not be around much for a few days. Please be good to Tricia (I know you will) and take good care of this thread for me. EO has become very close to my heart.

Or internet writings? For example, there is an interesting blog "aunt K" wrote discussing AB and her siblings, whom she had no intention of watching when she was supposed to be watching.

Just wondering considering how often people have wondered where were the adults.

Oh, how nice is this. Wonderful.

Even though I would love to read this info, NO! I don't think any of the rules have changed EXCEPT if you are local you can post what you have heard from people close to the case (rumors).

AB is still a minor and being treated as so, until the hearing on November 18 (14 days ) and as far as the siblings they are also minors, and the rest of the family is innocent. Can't post their names either. There are A BUNCH of initals floting around though.

Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I have kinda taken on the same mentality, as bad as I hate to I think to get ANY kind of facts on this case we are going to have to wait. Not because of rules here because there is some GREAT info here, but because there is no much flying around here, there and the next place that I don't know what to believe!

I'd rather read the actual stuff said by the family members for what it's worth if anything, than to read a bunch of people who post online about their inside info and townie rumors, which may or may not even be close.

Prof- I wholeheartedly agree. There just seems to be some odd stuff going on. The family knew that both of their girls had been in the woods. They knew that AB brought the 6 yr. old up most of the way and then went back. I don't know if they knew that EO was in the woods or not.

Given this information I would want AB to come with me to the Olten's to provide any information that she had. I would be asking her all kinds of questions just because she was outside at the time. If it was my granddaughter I would be questioning her about everything, but I wouldnt' suspect her of anything. I would just want to know anything that she might know.

I am going to do some digging to see what all I can find about a call to/from E and her Mom on Wed night around 6:15.

I read E had her Mom's cell phone
I read E's mom called her from a landline phone at 6:15 to come home
I think I also read E called her mom as she was leaving or on her way home
I also read the GP's sent her home at 6:15 - which contradicts them not knowing E was there.
I also read AB called E to come back after she left

For those of you who are interested, let's try to tackle this. It will help with the timeline better.
