Here is my thoughts. Mr Currie and Sheriff White were very good friends. Sheriff White was the last one to talk to him. I don't think Sheriff White would through his friend under the bus about he real reason. Just MHO.

Steph, AB spoke in court?????

Sorry, I did a bad job clarifying that information. I assume that was an investigators testimony.

Ok, maybe I need to clarify! I do NOT have my hands on the documented proof yet. I just heard of this possible documentation this morning as I was NOT aware of it a couple days ago when I rec'd the info. Also this proof does NOT connect AB to Currie in any way shape or form, nor do I have any evidence of the connection. Actually all of us have access to this information...it is public information. My info just proves the NT, media, & police are covering up some information IMO should be disclosed.

IF it is PUBLIC info, then it is already disclosed. Mr. Couty said Juvenile authories asked the media not to release info for safety reasons and the fact she was a juvi. Schools have always not talked about students, that is nothing new.

Just got home from the hearing this morning. I sat with W8nC. We both got passes to go back to the 1pm hearing this afternoon, which is only open to those of us who were there this morning.

Can anyone verify if AB was in court this morning or on teleconference?

Question for those who have/had children in JCHS.

Are there elective classes? In my high school we had to take the basic english, math, science, history, language, gym, classes every year but we also had one class each quarter that was elective- journalism, health, art, etc. And the teachers who taught the basic classes also taught electives. For example the 11th grade American History teacher also taught Introduction to Research for 9th graders. So even though you wouldn't have him for history you could have had him in electives.

Is there something like that in JCHS? I know it's been said Mr. Currie taught Journalism, is journalism an elective class?

If this is true GOD HELP JODIBUG! we might have to pass the collection plate around for bond money! lol

No really, I know she was going and would have pink ribbons in hand to hand out this morning. Pink was EO's favorite color!

Umm I haven't gotten to read back far enough to see what this is about, but I made the ribbons, FOR ELIZABETH. My daughter, a friend of hers and myself handed them out.

Although this is the outcome I expected, I am so relieved to have it finally decided by the judge.

She took a human life to just see what it felt like??? She is a waste of oxygen.

I am SO HAPPY she will be tried as an adult. Someone like that doesn't deserve to live out in society.

With regards to Alyssa doing it "just to know what it felt like"

Hope Ms. Alyssa has also been curious about what it feels like to spend every waking moment being watched, told what to do, right down to when she can shower. Sure hope she's been craving to find out what it "feels" like to live every waking moment in fear of her life, surrounded by other bigger stronger inmates, who all know you are a child murderer.

Yay for justice, JMOO

Jodibug that was my fault, the article was saying the TRIAL was for EOs accused killer, not the ribbons, and my poor grammar skills had me thinking the other way ;)
ETA: Are you going to be able to go @1?? I remember you said you only had the am off and then would be swamped....

During the morning juvenile certification hearing, the first person to speak was Principal Jeff Dodson of Jefferson City High School. He talked about Bustamante's performance in school as one of the top one-third in the class. He spoke how he had casual interactions with Bustamante and found her to be an average student. The only unexcused absence she had from school was the day after Olten's death.

Looks like the poster (can't remember which one) who said Alyssa skipped school the day after the murder was right.
