Because he was born to an unstable mother...this poor little guy never had a chance.
She was apparently not capable of being a good mother, and couldn't give him the safe, loving home he so deserved.

What a very sad, tragic story.

Authorities say Eric Hicks has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for the 2011 death of a toddler.

Eric Hicks had pleaded guilty to second degree murder this past October.
