HAZELWOOD • The Hazelwood Police Department on Sunday requested the activation of the Greater St. Louis Major Case Squad following an early morning shooting on Interstate 270 near North Lindbergh Boulevard.

John Howard Stith, 20, joins Tony Bailey, 21, Jerrod Corley, 24, and Leroy Coleman, 20, who were arrested and charged Friday, five days after Emma Wallace, 37, was shot and killed near North Lindbergh Boulevard. They face charges of first-degree murder, unlawful use of a weapon and multiple counts of assault and armed criminal action.

2 men found guilty of murdering woman in Hazelwood highway drive-by shooting - October

A St. Louis County jury late Tuesday found two men guilty of first-degree murder in a 2016 drive-by killing of a woman on Interstate 270 after leaving a bar in Hazelwood.

The trial against Jerrod Corley, 26, of Riverview, and Leroy Coleman, 22, of Beverly Hills, began last week. They and two others were charged last year in the Feb. 21, 2016, shooting death of Emma Wallace, 37, of Centralia, Ill.

Jerrod Corley, 26, of Riverview, and Leroy Coleman, 22, of Beverly Hills — were sentenced in December to terms of life in prison without parole for first-degree murder after being found guilty by a jury in October.

Tony Bailey pleaded guilty in September to a reduced charge of second-degree murder and nine other counts. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison.

Last month, John Stith received a 28-year prison term after pleading guilty.
