According to a probable cause statement on Feb. 9 the murder occurred at 1124 Mill St. in Leadwood. Frank Ancona was shot and killed inside a bedroom of the home and then was placed into Jinkerson’s vehicle. Frank’s body and his car were taken to Washington County and dumped.

This has to be it right? From google maps...Please tell me there isn't another house in the same street with this stuff. Can you image me loving next door to this?

If you can stand it - listen to the interview with his wife at the link in post # 80. It's about 11 minutes long. At one point, she tries to justify the klan and how they want to live with their "kind". So it wouldn't surprise me if the neighbors had similar beliefs.

I did.. and she said "he" as if she didn't share those beliefs but obviously she does. She said he didn't want to kill anyone just believed in separation of races. This just is so disgusting. I look at the kids on their pages and it saddens me they are being poisoned with this crap. I guess it shouldn't surprise me with the times we are in but it does. Guess I'm just a coastal elite. TBH, the Klan has been around on a small scale in this area for a few generations, probably more. My parents' families are from an area about 40 miles or so from here and there have always been a few of these types around. During the years I was growing up, it wasn't acceptable to advertise KKK affiliation, but the rumor mill usually knew who was involved. It's a shame that these people go around advertising it today.

When I go back home now and then to visit my grandparent's farm, there's the occasional house (or more likely rusty mobile home) with the stars and bars flying outside. Ugh. Never saw anything like that during the 1950's through the 90's. Missouri didn't have that much history related to the Civil War and the state was mostly Union, so seeing that now usually means KKK or something similar.

She got totally mixed up, saying she last saw him Thursday morning. The early articles said she said she last saw him Wed morning. Then she said she waited 48 hours (which would have been from Wed) and the reporter was like wait when did you report and she says Friday...oh I guess that would be 24 hours. And it was priceless listening to her try to explain her husband's beliefs in a way that didn't sound evil and hateful...she seemed really baffled that the reporter said explain it to people who don't know about this stuff.

Stated the obvious on page 2 of this thread. Poor guy. Killed by his own wife and stepson in his own home. They can both rot in jail.

And just because he believed in separation of races doesn't mean he is a hate-filled person, that his murder is any less a horrible crime or that his children and grandchildren don't love him and aren't grief stricken because someone decided to rob them of him. Besides, who are we to judge and last I heard, we are all still entitled to our personal beliefs.

He was murdered by people who were supposed to be his family. Disgusting!

Why place his body next to the water, rather than in it ? Were Mom and son trying to stage this as a suicide ?

its a slim possibility. but female inmates are not like male ones. male inmates are very political. they choose a gang and they do as ordered. female inmates usualy focus on their "girlfriend", drugs or some other thing. they can be political but its loosely.

Investigators believe he was shot first with a 9 mm semi-automatic pistol, which was followed up with a shot from a 12-gauge shotgun.

Mahurin said they have located both of the firearms used.
