Anyone seen our Sonjay and JSCLhook?

Let's just keep the inflammatory tweets by virtual unknowns off here.

After Lamby went to bed last night, I watched more live stream for about 45 minutes. Bambuser had to shut down because the cops were on to him. He was talking earlier last night about having to come into Ferguson in one car and leave in another because he was being 'targeted'. And here I was thinking maybe the heavy rain was the reason for the stream shut down lol

@Rebelutionary_Z @wahookid99 .....thank you so much for the info....i am ready to bloq this popsicle stand if anything kicks off...

Was wondering what he/she meant. Our popsicle stand? Paranoia is setting in.

I've often used the phrase, "Let's blow this popsicle stand," meaning, let's leave. Never heard "bloq," but that could just be a typo.

ETA:

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=let's blow this popsicle stand!

A very silly way to say "Let's get a move on."

I hope they investigate further and find out whose fingerprints are all over those tweets...

100% this. Assuming her word can be confirmed, I am completely relieved by that news. Can they track down where a tweet originated from? In other words, do they have the capability to pinpoint what computer or a location for where the person was that tweeted that?

The question was about the "plan going forward if protests continue."

@DevinJamesGroup said "We are in the process of working on and building, you know, how do we reach all residents ...

"within the city of #Ferguson in the event that something happens and there is an evacuation."

"What resources do we have to actually get the word out there?"

"Do we rely on a combination of media? Do we introduce robocalls? Do we do text messaging? Emails?"

"We're looking at all of the different tactics available, and just trying to see, you know ...

"what's the best method to communicate with everybody in the event that something like that happens"

"and we need to either tell people to hunker down or get out or whatever."

As someone who was in the heart of the '92 LA riots , this kind of plan needs to be explored. I was home alone with a 3 wk old baby and a 4 yr old and my husband was out of the country on business. I had help during the day but never imagined that a mob would be outside my door throwing bricks at my front porch at nightfall. :panic:

In a full blown riot situation there is no easy way to 'evacuate.'

I'm southwest of Ferguson. We are under 25 different watches/warnings for "my viewing area." The storms are moving northeast...

But French has long been controversial. To his detractors he is a knee-jerk critic who often lacks focus or specifics. They cite criticism of the mayor on crime and law enforcement that he made before the city gained control of its police department a year ago.

French has been hit with a string of fines from the Missouri Ethics Commission for campaign ethics violations over the years. The latest was in March, when French and his committee were fined $3,700 for failing to report an expenditure in a timely fashion, and for including improper information on a “paid for by” disclosure on printed signs for Aldermanic President Lewis Reed’s campaign against Slay for mayor. None of the violations resulted in criminal charges.

There's a lot out there about French, and I think if one followed his tweets and retweets and how much benefit he's seen/pursued from Michael, it'd be easier to understand why many question his involvement.

His being in charge of funding grants and nonprofits might be a concern.

New report from CNN reporter Sara Sidler on Ferguson. About an hour ago, Ms. Sidler tweeted that she'd talked to the woman whose twitter acct. resulted in the recent gj investigation, but nothing yet about what the woman said.

We did get some news.

Reminds me of the SUV driven by the MCN dubbed "KKK" guy. Amazing after that disgraceful incident to hear her portray herself as a peace agent in that interview.

I am sure he is an opportunist. I can see that. However, his tutoring organization is a beneficial thing for the community.

I worked for one for 9 years. And it had a big impact upon the student body. We couldn't help all the kids who came to us. Only those who wanted to help themselves. But those that followed through were helped tremendously. We were like a mediation group between the students and their teachers. We would help the students figure out EXACTLY what they needed to get enough credits to graduate. And then we would administer missed tests and help them acquire missing homework assignments and tutor them if they did not understand how to complete the work.
