Regarding Faraci's attack:

1/2 Windows boarded up Saturday, so no way to throw into store. Owner thinks MCs were thrown at roof, rolled off, hit sidewalk.

2/2 If true, that would account for pattern and lack property damage.

This reporter is now being harrassed for reporting the Molotov cocktails. Sounds like some are saying the owner did it himself, like some were suggesting both officers shot themselves. I'm hoping this is just deflecting and they don't really believe that.

Telling folks to get back on the sidewalk now.

Nevermind.

Protesters in the street blocking traffic. PD comes out and says, stay on the sidewalk. Protester says, it's about to get real now.

officer talking to the clergy. I guess asking them to move to the sidewalk.

They are all excited! The protesters are saying, "oh yeah it's getting ready to happen!" They love this

they are still in the middle of the road. There are some guys riding bikes too. The clergyman is in the middle of the dang road with them. He doesn;t even seem to be trying to get them to move.

They are chanting "our streets"

"Whose streets? Our streets!"

(I think that's right).

Can't understand what else they are saying.

I am wondering if the protesters will have a truly legitimate argument for a double standard when the cops do absolutely nothing to stop the drunken celebration that will take over the streets of St. Louis when my Cardinals win the World Series. Streets all around the stadium will be blocked off by a bunch of drunks, including myself, celebrating in the streets and there won't be one arrest for being in the street and not one person will be told to get out of the streets or get arrested. I wonder how that will set with the protesters.

If the drunks shoot at the cops and threaten other people, I am sure they will get the same reaction.

At one point Sunday night, about 300 people gathered on South Florissant Road across from the Ferguson police station.

That prompted some protesters, such as Ferguson Democratic Committeewoman Patricia Bynes, to say the crowd was being manipulated into negotiations to quell the protesting. Bynes said police started the tactic Thursday, promising to release arrested people earlier if the protesting died down. But she said they did not deliver on those promises.

“We should not be negotiating with them about our basic rights,” she said.

Bynes said the arrested were being treated more like hostages to intimidate and manipulate protesters, noting they were targeting regular protesters for arrest who show up night after night.

Does the same thing happen if your cardinals lose the playoffs ?
