The link isn’t working. Can you list the names of the defendants? Odd that the link doesn’t work.

In searches on Google AI, there’s mention of Phillip Bagley and/or “Master” Ed Bagley involved in SM crimes with an underage girl. Farther back in this thread, there’s mention are a couple of links to news magazine articles about that case and others in the area. Really horrific, but the justice system never seems to do enough to stop it.

I wonder why the FBI links to those press releases don’t work?
Michael Stokes, also known as “The Rodent,” 65, of Lebanon, Missouri, and James Noel, 47, of Springfield, Missouri, were each sentenced to five years in federal prison without parole in separate hearings before U.S. District Judge Dean Whipple. Marilyn Bagley, 48, of Lebanon, was sentenced to five years of probation.

I just came across this thread
The cases mentioned here are absolutely horrifying. And we all know that there are many, many other women (and men in some cases) who are being tortured and abused as I type this. 😔

Rest in peace Cassidy. And may other victims find at least a small amount of healing.

Please read the magazine articles at the older links in the threads, too. This was horrific and one of the most suspicious investigations I’ve ever followed. Even though the killers both got LWOP sentences, it still leaves me with the impression that other people were involved and that it could happen again.

Even more strange, the Wagner family, who mass murdered the Rhoden Family and Hanna Gilley in Ohio, were trying to buy a house a few miles away from this crime scene before their arrest.

March 4, 2026 article

[…]

She has written and produced a four-part documentary series, “Murder on Moon Valley Road: The Killing of Cassidy Rainwater.” The first episode premieres Thursday, March 12. Watch the video above for a preview.

[…]
Finally some good news on this case. Ozarks First researched the investigation and trials of these killers and put together the story of how and why Cassidy Rainwater was hunted and killed. The prosecution and courts kept the details of this case under a gag order for years.

I’m going to download the streaming app and watch it. Anyone else? Instructions are at the link.

Diabolical, yes, absolutely. The way it was handled was strange, too. LE probably already knew these guys were up to no good. It's a small town - type of area and the rumor mill was pretty open about some of the locals being involved in hosting twisted parties featuring live video.

Nothing happened until after the discovery. The night after these guys were arrested and jailed, someone went out to the crime scene and torched everything. For some reason the police weren't guarding it after the evidence collecting teams left for the night. Then the local prosecutor quickly got the judge to issue a gag order on all the evidence. They talked the killers into a plea deal, so there was no trial and no evidence presented to the public.

It will be interesting to see what the people who made this documentary uncovered.
