Unfortunately, true. Not only did they release the police chief's address and home phone number, they released the name of his wife and children, placing them in danger as well. I hope that they have gone to family or friends outside of the area. Though I haven't seen it with my own two eyes, it has been said that they (Anonymous) have released the name of the officer involved and believe I have seen a statement from the chief saying they've released the wrong name and now a cop that wasn't involved is receiving death threats.

That's just wrong!

Is there a website to directly view what Anonymous has been doing?

It's a Hacker group, you can google it and find info.

I know who they are, but I wanted a single source to view what they are doing.

Hacker group “Anonymous” threatens Ferguson police department

ST. LOUIS, MO (KTVI) – The hacker group Anonymous has posted a video showing their support for the demonstrators. They have threatened to hack the Ferguson police department if any protesters are harmed. The group says they will release personal information from members of the police department and dump it on the internet.

WARNING: THIS VIDEO CONTAINS GRAPHIC IMAGES

So Sharpton and others who want to exploit this tragedy for their own personal gains are stoking the fires of hatred and bitterness again. I doubt they care one bit about the victim or his family.

I feel terrible for the young boy. I hope the truth is out soon.

If you have twitter and just search anonymous and ferguson, you can't miss it. It changes from time to time as twitter closes out their account. They have a website too, http://www.operationferguson.cf/

Oh believe me, that photo has pissed people off. Both for using it and the interpretation. I'll put it this way. If that were a picture of my 17 year old daughter in the same pose, people would interpret it as a peace sign. With him, it is interpreted as gang signs. They are also upset because there are tons of other photos that have also been posted on line that aren't inflammatory like that (a graduation pic for example). So people are further incensed that the media chooses that one to use. Only reports I have heard is he's a good kid but then again, that's why I was trying to see if he has a criminal history.

Sharpton is not the only outsider stoking the flames in STL, but otherwise can't argue that.

When HLN and Mike Brooks were discussing this today they were also showing photos of MB, some I haven't seen before. One of them showed what looked like it could again be a gang sign imo.

I've seen something that some are alledging is this kids "rap sheet". All the charges were on the same day and there was nothing to indicate the status if it was even true which I have strong doubts about. The date on the list is 11/02/2013 and as I said, no one would say where this list of alledged crimes came from.

If this kid JUST turned 18 would any police records dated a year ago when he was legally a minor be available to the public?

ben crump just claimed on HLN that there is a young lady who believes she has video of the part of the incident where he has his hands raised and is shot on her cell phone, which police took from her.

first time i have heard it in MSM. will post a link if one becomes available, just heard it myself, rewound it and confirmed. no ambiguity.

Disagree with Rev. Sharpton all you want, but if you are going to accuse him of personal corruption, you ought to be able to produce some evidence.

I don't pretend to know about his personal dealings, but the Sharpton of today has come a long way from the Tawana Brawley affair.

A shooting such as the one in Ferguson does not occur in a vacuum. It's unlikely there's an African-American protester there who has not been wrongly hassled by white police. For such protesters, the death of this child is a case of "There but for the grace of God..." No wonder they are angry!

Crump cannot be trusted.

He's still probably trying to pay off that tax bill.

Nope, they would think it is a gang sign no matter who did it.
