just today the police contacted dorian johnson's lawyer to setup an interview... it still has not taken place.

this kid makes it really clear that the first shot fired is fired while the cop is in his car and michael is outside the car, this could (should?) be easy to prove with forensic evidence.

for what it is worth, his story has been the same every time i have heard him tell it. he sounds honest and the story makes sense and seems believable.

I've seen something that some are alledging is this kids "rap sheet". All the charges were on the same day and there was nothing to indicate the status if it was even true which I have strong doubts about. The date on the list is 11/02/2013 and as I said, no one would say where this list of alledged crimes came from.

If this kid JUST turned 18 would any police records dated a year ago when he was legally a minor be available to the public?

Very typically they can still be seen on casenet unless it's been sealed or it's actually in juvenile court. If it's a felony in 2013, I'd think its on casenet. I only looked in St. Louis County and saw nothing.

He very well could be bluffing in an effort to make LE think long and hard before coming out with their "official" version of events. If LE has it in the back of their mind that he may have something, they may have to keep the facts closer to the truth, if in fact that's how it played out.

Here is the Missouri casenet. There are over 400 pages to sift through trying to determine which is which on casenet. And thats searching Michael, not Mike. It very well could be true but without knowing all of his possible addresses, maybe his middle initial, I don't know how one figures out which are actually him by just using casenet. One can certainly narrow down the 3200 to maybe a thousand if you only search St. Louis City, St. Louis County and the surrounding counties. I looked at St. Louis County and didn't see anything in 2013 that seemed right on. Some taxes, some child support, stuff like that. Can you point me to where you're reading this and it might help me narrow it down.

I don't understand the police containment tactics here - why contain if they're allowing other people to join, so the crowd's getting bigger? And I don't understand the protests being held at night, either. It's just asking for trouble.

So the police don't want any news reports with actual footage of what's going on. No conflicting stories that way.
