God that is part of the problem. Who cares who thinks who won. Put the damn egos aside. It doesn't matter. But if them thinking they won means no more violence, then who the hell cares.

I care. Quite frequently, when things upset a certain group, or things don't go their way, we are threaten with a riot. We even were in this case, way back somewhere in this thread. I'm sick of it. I will not be intimidated by "riots" from a lawless bunch, none of us should be. Their lawless, intimidating arses should be thrown in jail, not given in to, told they "won". BS, says I.

If the police didn't come out with their SWAT militarized stances, virtually stifling the people, there would be no violence.

I posted a photo to show how peaceful the protesting is now without police presence..

And those who looted, who destroyed property were not part of the ones who were trying to peacefully protest for justice for Mike Brown..

most are conflating the two..they are not part of the Mike Brown protesters..

Yet the reporters were and they were manhandled and detained.

Ferugson PD handled this all wrong now they are off the policing and calm has taken over Ferguson..

The other part of it I believe is the feeling of a cover up...nothing told the Mike Browns parents on the why's of his alleged execution...right in the street with witnesses refuting the little claims that came out..

The community certainly seems happy to have Captain Johnson there with them. He grew up in Ferguson and went to the same high school that Mike Brown attended.

What is the percentage of blacks vs whites who live in Ferguson?

Are there more whites living there and the AAs are in the small minority?

They said last night it was because of the riots and looting and what was going on. jmo
