Judge Jeanine asks Baden point blank were there ANY injuries to the decedents hands...
He says, no injuries on his hands.

Then he brings it around to evidence of punching...sneaky. IMO

on Hannity, Kevin Sharp from The Black Sphere said he changed his opinion when he heard that DW was alleged to have used his left arm to grab big MB through the window. he thought "not unless you're a 500# gorilla"

I find it incredible offensive and disingenuous for Dr. Baden to state it doesn't look like Officer Wilson has a severe injury based on the video footage of him after the shorting walking around at the scene.

IMO

Why is that offensive? When I think "severely injured" I don't think of someone walking around normally. That being said, I have not seen that video as of yet.

then his 'answers' in the ME report arent very helpful. Who stands just like that diagram when running from/lunging at a cop?

Well according to Professor Parcells "the arms are very movable"

All bullets from the front, is that correct dr baden?

Yes, thats correct...

I hope the posters who earlier said he was shot from the back while running away are listening to Dr Baden.

MB's stepdad, I think

That was James Williams Mike Brown's friend's attorney it said below him on the screen. I never saw him before, but he was fired up, not sure about what. Anyone else get why he was so mad?

I would think he was still feeling the effects of adrenaline rush and emotional disbelief which would override any sense of pain/injury

My fist thought as well...and he was able to draw his gun, and say "I'll shoot you," while maintaining that hold.

Oh and Baden also said, no marks on his neck, and didn't qualify it by saying "that's not unusual"

The way DJ first described that "choking" hold, you would figure there would be bruising, and possible finger nail marks as well.

#Ferguson about 30 protesters marching, 100+ others standing around, more arguing amongst crowd, cops staying back

Man, they really can come up with some inventive stuff don't they?

IKR? Why couldn't they make it so us lay people* can understand? Like "in relation to the missionary position".

*no pun intended

OK, good to know. TY. yah, he was all kinds of wound up. I guess on re-watch we can figure out which question pushed his button

When you think as a lay person is one thing....
He's a pathologist.

He has autopsied hundreds of people with deadly injuries that aren't visible from the vantage point of that video footage.
Think JonBenet's skull fracture that was unknown until autopsy.

Yeah, Officer Wilson was standing up and walking around & not a bloody mess... He would have no idea by looking at that video alone that Wilson wasn't suffering a severe concussion, orbital fracture, bleeding in his brain, brain swelling.... Etc...

All IMO

Do you have to be a registered voter?

No, you do not have to be registered to vote to be selected for jury duty.

Can I volunteer for jury duty?

No. State statute requires that jurors are selected by a random draw.

http://www.stlouisco.com/LawandPublicSafety/CircuitCourt/FrequentlyAskedQuestions/JuryDuty#q6

That's not what we meant. The question was what info is used to obtain people's names for jury duty, not that you have to be registered to vote to be on a jury.

Missouri grand jury mulling Darren Wilson’s shooting of Michael Brown has 3 blacks, 9 whites
While Ferguson is a mostly African-American suburb, the grand jurors were selected from a county-wide pool of registered voters. St. Louis County, which does not include the city of St. Louis, is about 23% African-American, according to U.S. Census figures.

Yet another reason to register to vote...if people want fair and impartial juries that truly represent the demographic...

This is what I transcribed from Judge J earlier about Dr. B and hand injury. Judge J asked in the context of if DW had an eye injury/ orbital fracture, wouldn't we see evidence on a hand injury. Thought this might be helpful to post again:

---
Dr. Baden said when asked about an injury to the hand "no, we looked closely, and we did not find any injuries on his hands."
Judge J asks if there were an injury to Officer Wilson to the eye socket, you would expect to see something?"
Dr. B says "well often, often, we'd see injuries to the hand but not always. Punches can be delivered without injuries to the hand too."
Judge J: "Yeah, but if, if, and again we don't know, if the orbital socket, the bone is broken that's serious."
Dr. B: "That's right, that's leakage and there's no official report to support that as yet. These reports will come out I assume as the GJ winds down"

I don't think she even really started with a question, he just wanted to argue that whatever point she was going to make is meaningless.

Like Parks..."Not gonna lie, there was a severe altercation at the car, his gun maybe coming out, a shot fired...........but that's not what got him killed"
