Not sure who the person speaking was, but was basically jumping out of his seat with glee that we finally have confirmation that the stories of MB running away and then a pause and then additional unnecessary shots were fired seems "plausible."

Looks like the page is about 6 days old. If it was real it would probably be everywhere by now.

I've seen this before, not sure where.

And we know for sure that's an audio of OW shooting at MB? I'll wait until the FBI confirms this.

Van Jones on CNN already spinning this new evidence. He says you can hear a "big pause" between the first volley and the second". Jones says this confirms witnesses who claimed that there was a "big pause" in between volleys during which MB tried to surrender. Jones' assertion that there was a "big pause" is demonstrably false. The entire volley lasted only 8 seconds. There was a brief pause that lasted probably no more than 1 second. I think when we superimpose this audio recording onto the various witness testimonies we will see that the timing for the shots doesn't coincide with some of their stories. They were either embellishing or outright lying!

I heard 12! Which is what I thought. I bet only 1 left in the chamber. moo

All posts are MOO

Do we know for sure that officer Wilson had a 12 round capacity magazine and that he chambered a round, removed the magazine and loaded another round into it?

If the whole shooting sequence only lasted seconds, then clearly he didn't have time to reload.

On the first night of the riots, the cops may have been a bit too 'overdressed' and too militaristic. But they adapted over time and I don't think the police were ever 'brutal' or violent, like in Apartheid times.

But they did not know what the heck to expect. They still don't. The riots are far from over.

I agree, the MO police toned it down. I guess my thought process is "Crap! What if I am the next target, but have done nothing wrong?"

I read this mentality in gun lobby forums all the time and I hate to say, because I don't agree with their rhetoric, the "maybe I am next" talk really got to me. I think about that day and night now. It worries me sick. I can be breaking NO law and still.....

Actually makes me understand the off-the-grid gun-toters who don't trust the police or government. They have a point.

Almost. Not quite there yet. Still too much of a lib.

All three guests with Don Lemon say the audio tape supports the witness statements. Surprise Surprise. Sounded to me like a bunch of shots followed by a maybe 3 second pause then several more shots. One guest says the shots shows there was no altercation at the car. What?

I'm trying to figure out what the shots tell us really. I don't understand what confirmation we get of anything? Help me?

Why does this female lawyer keep saying only a lawyer or such can understand this recording and its importance?

Exactly. I got yelled at with one of those electronic voice box things once, it was very jarring. I was getting pulled over and apparently he didnt like where I was pulling over, so he told me to go further down the exit ramp. It sounds very eerie and really sets you off. lol
they should play a recording made by Mr "that is not the sidewalk - the sidewalk is behind the light post"

Oh, maybe because there are only 12 shots in the gun? Has anyone determined how many were on that tape? I think I've heard 12 more than anything- hard to count

I see your point. And it makes me so sad. To think that I could be minding my own business and be treated like scum. And have to accept it because the bully is the law. Suck it up and respect the badge. That breeds a culture of abuse on the side of those in "control". We have s system of checks and balances.

Sorry, but that ain't right.

Respect breeds respect. Basic human law.

But you know i loves ya anyway! :loveyou:

But there's a time and place for grievances. You can lodge a formal compliant later.

I once had a township police officer blow through a red light with no lights or sirens and barely missed my vehicle by inches. I had my son in the car...
I was so shaken... I had to pull over to stop physically shaking.

I filed a formal complaint.

I was treated with kindness and respect too and received a phone call from the "whoever is the top guy" I forget his exact title who assured me it would be dealt with and thanking me for bringing it to their attention.

Could that all have been lip service? Maybe. But I like to think that report made it into the file of that officer and he was reprimanded for it.

General consensus on CNN is that this is a big "win" for the MB side. Anyone disagree with my assessment of CNN's assessment?

I'm watching CNN *good grief* about the audio shots. Does that say "alleged"? And already, people on tv are jumping all over as if there's no doubt about it!

The family attorney would not want that to be said with the pending lawsuits. They are looking for a settlement and will continue with what they are saying about their 'view' of what happened.

IMO When the truth comes out there will not be any settlements owed to anyone. I wish those trying to make this a race case settlement instead of a young man committing a felony leading to his death ,had to pay all the businesses destroyed by the mob they incited and for all the overtime they costs the tax payers.Sorry for his parents loss but their son s actions were criminal and IMO they do not deserve a settlement.
